John Castle was always an odd one, but he's really gone insane the last year or so.

Whats happened to Castle at TK? I got a bit bored this afternoon with @oldfella1962 s election meltdown and thought a change of scenery would be good so I decided to see if Castle has had an aneurism yet? Im guessing given he seems to be posted missing, that you guys have either banned him, he got the 'rona and died or he's been marching to DC over the last few weeks?

So Castle’s life/housing situation appears to be even more in flux than normal. About a year ago they got rid of all their possessions except for a suitcase and took a bus across the continent* to bumfuck middle of nowhere Upper Midwest (where have family). They had a place lined up but it fell through. Ended up living in a motel. After a couple months they got fed up and went back to Arizona where again housing fell through and they ended up in another motel, this time in a tiny town in the middle of the desert (can’t drive/no car so could only walk to a couple places) . Through a family member they got hooked up with a house back in middle of nowhere Upper Midwest so jumped on the bus again and is now there. But it doesn’t have internet. I’m guessing with the weather it is hard for them to get to a coffee shop or other place with WiFi. They’re now trying to get back to Arizona.

*Except for a handful of high volume trip pairs intercity bus service in the US SUCKS. Super sketchy and super slow. I can’t imagine using it to go 1700 miles/2700km. I think it took most of a week.

Last I knew, Castle had moved to some small ass town in Arizona. He then had some offer to live in a house his mom (I think) owned. He was debating going there due to infrastructure (internet, public transportation, ride services). I know he doesn't/can't drive because apparently of eyesight. But from @Ancalagon's post, at least he has some housing, which most likely is the house his mom has for him.

I didn't know Castle had gone through all that, if so, I feel kind of bad for him. Hopefully he gets some stability soon.
