How'd they get this picture of me?!? :diacanu:

I see nothing unhealthy or insane here. He enjoys shooting and collecting.

See that gun safe at the right? Yeah, there are a bunch of companies that make those. Gun collections are not unusual.

So for those keeping track at home, in Florida now:
    1)No concealed carry permit law
    2) No open carry restrictions
    3) No age restrictions on firearm purchases (A repeal of a law passed in the wake of Parkland)
    4) Vaguely-defined "Stand Your Ground" law
    5) Armed teachers in classrooms
    6) Teaching certification handed out to untrained veterans

Yeah, this is going to end well.

And I'm all for transpeople living as they wish.

But normalizing their fetish, forcing others to accept it, or forcing it on kids is where I draw the line.

Florida used to have a very sensible and practical concealed carry law that involved training and background checks. But we had to go down the beta-cuck Republican route.

If dozens of children dying at a time is a price worth paying for people to have gun collections like yours, then you can fuck right off with your line of suddenly pretending to care about them if they see someone presenting as a different gender than you think they should.

Apparently there's not. Since mass shootings have only increased exponentially since the 90s. Right around the time when the assault weapon ban was allowed to expire.
The line people like you often love to recite is "My right to swing my fist ends at someone else's face." It's a nice sentiment, but not one you adhere to. And maybe you don't actually believe in that particular credo. Regardless, American history is replete with people's rights changing for the benefit of society as a whole.
Meaning, unless you or someone on your side can actually offer a solution that works, then you don't really have an argument.

I'd compare it to owning child porn. The individual may claim to not have directly harmed a child, but that's the broader consequence that demand for the items creates.

    1. Secure schools and other vulnerable targets.

    2. Make carry easy for the law-abiding to do, and make all non-secured public spaces lawful to carry in.

    3. Identify and intervene in mental health cases, focusing on younger people.

    4. Imprison violent offenders with enhanced sentences for repeat and/or gang offenses.

Is merely existing a "gang offense," or does that only apply when you disapprove of their politics? I don't see anyone giving violent crimes a pass.

The context seems to suggest I have some affinity for these groups. I don't. In truth, I'm only vaguely aware of them.

Off the top of my head, gang activity to me means "coordinated and/or ongoing illegal activities, especially crimes of violence, theft, intimidation, narcotics trafficking, etc., performed by members (usually youths) of an organized association seeking to exert unlawful control over a territory and its inhabitants."

Whoever fits that definition, that's who I mean.
