The Smurfettes are a group of Smurfs that are the female counterparts of the inhabitants of Smurf Village. They first appear in the film Smurfs: The Lost Village. They live in a place called Smurfy Grove which is located in the Forbidden Forest and are led by a village leader named Smurfwillow. The Smurfettes are mostly identical to each other in that they each have dark blue hair (which they wear in many different hairstyle variations) and wear sand-colored hats, dresses, and shoes, except for Smurfwillow, who just like Papa Smurf, has white hair and wears a red hat and red pants. Most of they have flowers or four-leaf clovers on the left side or right side of their hats, other accessories most of they wear are light brown vests and short ponchos, short ponchos made out of small green leaves and necklaces and bracelets (both made with small colorful stones). The Smurfettes disguise themselves with leaves to make their appearance fearsome to those who would invade their village, and to hide themselves from those who would seek them. Another technique to scare hunters of them is dressing up in a big dragon costume, with a group of girls inside it, to look like a predator animal.

The Smurfs first meet the Smurfettes when Smurfette herself discovered one of them dressed in a disguise appearing on her side of the wall separating the Smurf Forest from the Forbidden Forest, though she didn't know that it was a Smurfette until she and her friends Brainy, Clumsy, and Hefty traveled through the Forbidden Forest to find out. However, the four Smurfs ended up leading Gargamel to Smurfy Grove, where he proceeded to capture all its inhabitants in addition to Papa Smurf and Smurfette's friends. Nonetheless, Smurfette risked her life to save both the Smurfs and the Smurfettes, who in turn restored her to life when they brought her home to the Smurf Village to mourn for their loss. All both Smurfs and Smurfettes celebrate together Smurfette's return to life in a massive dance party, uniting both villages.

Yeah, Sassette is the last one I remember. Okay so this is my presumption. Papa Smurf had a wife that gave birth to a litter of Smurfs which is the other Smurfs from the original show, but she died in Smurf birth so we never saw her. There must be other comunities of Smurfs out there that we never saw and Smurfette is not their sister or Smurfette is their sister and she got gang banged by her brothers and popped out a litter of female Smurfs.

I watched the Graham Hancock Netflix special. Yes, it is full of unfounded speculation and very light on evidence, relative to its grand theory. I was expecting to be more entertained, but I least I got some ideas for archeological sites to tour in the future.
