God DAMN, Chrome is aggressive about expired SSL certificates. I kept trying to get it to let me access the site anyway (because if anybody wants to intercept the data that flows between me and the Wordforge server, they're welcome to it), and it popped up the alert on every single page, disabled a bunch of shit, and wouldn't let me do anything. Posting with Opera now...
Yeah. Google created this mess when they said that they’d bury non-encrypted sites in search results to get people to encrypt. I don’t care how easy they make it for people get an encryption cert, it’s still a PITA to deal with for a site like this that’s just a hobby.
I'm using Opera to post here as Chrome doesn't let me post. But the formatting is also screwed up too.
Back on trying Chrome, I got the alert once even after reading several topics, it hasn't repeated the alert. Except I got reply a moment ago, and didn't realize until after that the site loaded report the post box. (Added) Yup, Chrome is letting me post.
firefox sent me a notice and I just accepted the security risk and came in. It now shows an exception for the site so I do not know if it is happening anymore. Mozilla FTW!
Still doesn't work for me on Chrome, I'm using Opera instead. Chrome still says Wordforge is unsafe. Just in case, here is my social security number:
And now I'm getting this error: 404 Not Found The server can not find the requested page: wordforge.net/index.php (port 443) Please forward this error screen to wordforge.net's WebMaster.
It's loading and working on Chrome, once in a while I'll get this. Just get rid of the "S" out of the "https".
I can get in on Chrome with the http rather than https thing, but it won't stay logged in despite checking the box. Sort your shit out, folks. If this just needs a new cert issuing, get it done.
As soon as @Ancalagon contacts the host/server and finds out what needs to be done and how much it'll cost, it'll get done.
I can log in via Chrome on my Android, but not Chrome on my Windows desktop. Nothing happens when I enter the login info.
I can log in using Chrome and Opera on my laptop, and can log in using Chrome and Opera on my phone and several tablets.
Still being finicky for me on Firefox mobile. I can access the site by clicking the button for "forums" but not "home." Which is still better than Samsung's browser where I can't log in at all
It's erratic for me. I frequently have to log back in on mobile (even though I've ticked "Keep Me Logged In").
