I don't think he needs any bodyguards.

I used to shoot IDPA, but three gun looks like fun.

:drama: But...but....but the guns look "military" and shoot a whole bunch of rounds! :weep:Why would anyone need more than one patched ball from a muzzle-loader? If our Founding Fathers were alive today they would be rolling over in their graves! :shakefist: Actually no, they would be lining up to try out the weapons. Keanu is pretty fast & accurate I must say! I wouldn't want to break into his house with ill intent. :bergman:

Shit, that looks awesome. I'd pay good money to do that, no ranges like that around where I live unfortunately.

This raises the question, is he pro-2nd amendment, or is he just doing this as part of his "craft" - training for a role?

I was wondering the same. It certainly looks like he could be training for a film role. But it also appears to be live fire. Would they do that if it were just training? I've read that he lives a pretty simple life, and gives away most of his money. Would it be expensive for a hobbyist to get this type of a shooting experience? I'm thinking you need to spend quite a bit of time and money to get to the point he as at in the video.

"a bit of time and money" for the average person maybe. He probably has a lot more disposable income considering he's an accomplished actor. If it is his hobby that's pretty cool, like Harrison Ford has his flying.

From the looks of it, he was in a 3 gun competition.

To run this type of course? No.

To do it as well as Reeves does? Yes.
Yes. I've been shooting as a hobby for 30+ years, and I couldn't do that nearly as quickly and smoothly.

That much practice is bound to mess with his head when he's on set with blanks shooting at real people. He probably spends hours verifying that each and every single cartridge within two miles is a blank so he doesn't finish a scene and ask the director "Why aren't the stunt guys getting up?"
