So you admit it was "prolific" and not "prominent." The thread is about a writer. What else would "prolific" mean in that context - "someone with a high post count"? :sroll:

The name was taken from the name that was required to be provided to pay for the donation. To be honest, I figured the only person who might be interested in looking (if at all given that there were *hundreds* of donations made, would be David and given how many names, I figured out that was improbable.

Who the hell reads donor lists anyhow? I don't. No one else would have known (or cared).

P.S. Had I realized someone would look and bring it up, I'd have modified the name. The obsession of online people never fails to amaze me. In the words of Shatner, "Get a life!"

This board is the reason I've ditched the Anna Yolei moniker elsewhere online (except for the TWOP spinoff board because everyone already knows about the trashy soap operas I follow).

I learned that lesson when Tamar went digging up shit to troll me with when I have her pet Eccentric a black eye. :brood:

I'm far more interested in your evidencing the Christian values that you purport to subscribe to. Jesus is watching you.

Media, IRS, governments, troublemakers on all sides of the political spectrum.

In this guys case yeah no one would probably read it but the lists do get read.

Always have to assume someone is going to read it.

Well, according to David's latest update, they're up to at least $55,000.

David is now promising to create a website where, for a subscription fee, people can sign up to receive all manner of behind the scenes info about David and his upcoming projects. :dayton:

You know, so he never gets into trouble with the IRS again. :dayton:

Of course, people are free to do anything they like with their money. But Peter David doesn't push my sympathy button. He's made a career out of being an obnoxious, egomaniacal ass, and has made a lot of enemies in the industry. He's a far-left liberal version of Trump - thin skinned, vainglorious, narcissistic and intolerant of dissenting opinion. I visited his website a while back and he was threatening to ban anyone from his site that dared to disagree with any of his opinions concerning gun control. lI still remember his infamous "feud" with Todd McFarlane (Spawn) after Image was founded. There's a reason David has never worked for Image. David could have been enjoying the success Kirkman does today, but he burned those bridges 25 years ago. So, yeah, he's reduced to begging for money on the internet and peddling autographed copies of Imzadi at obscure cons. Pathetic.

Sounds like SF's answer to PZ Myers.
Peezus sickens me, but I don't wish suffering on the man.
I hope for the acceleration of the implosion of his personality cult, because his fanclub are a bunch of nasty little doxxers, dirt diggers, stalkers, trolls, and rumor mongers, and I'd like to see his ability to do harm through them end.
But after that, he can vanish, and I'd be fine.
I don't need him to be humiliated.
    It's the same for David.
No, less, because David only ever hurt himself, he didn't try to ruin lives like PZ.
    Who did he hurt?
    In a material way?
Trampling egos, and leaving a trail of butt-hurt doesn't count.
I know some people think their butt is a life giving organ like the heart and lungs, but it isn't.

Throwing un-evidenced rape accusations around, branding people racist, trying to get people fired by sending flunkies to call their jobs.
The usual ways trolls fuck with people IRL.
    Not a nice fella.
    His wiki page is whitewashed.

Eh. I've been open about my real name since I went online. Never had to worry about being "outed" by someone since I was open about my real name, *years* before others online became more relaxed about it (most of them courtesy of Facebook).

    * *

Not a problem. Nothing online is private - nothing. I just don't get the obsession with some posters to find out what others are doing or care. No offense, but once I stop reading this BBS for the day, I don't give anyone a second thought. They can give to a celebrity or satan or nobody but it's not my business nor do I care. What they do is their own business and up to what they feel is best.

Some people really need a life.

    Both of these are true.

Granted, this incident happened over ten years ago and my real name was attached to some review on Amazon is posted three years earlier and forgotten about, which is why I was freaked out. But now, I'm FB with nearly everyone on the board anyway.

    damn he's an a-hole:

    http://www.peterdavid.net/

At this point the total income is about $68,000, which is staggering, but unfortunately still not enough. I will definitely be endeavoring to negotiate, but I didn’t want to bet everything on it working. And donations to both Paypal and GoFundMe“>GoFundMe page have trickled down.

Nevertheless, when I do start my Patreon.com account, that money will be set aside to cover taxes on anything else I earn (This is what got you in trouble in the first place you overrated hog!)

    I don't agree that he's overrated.
His run on Hulk in the grey-Hulk years was excellent.
I didn't care for the Professor-Hulk years, but even within that, there was the "Future Imperfect", graphic novel.
Then, there was "Hulk: The End", and I've got the graphic novel that combines "The End", with "Future Imperfect", and it's quite possibly the best Hulk thing ever.
When he's good, he's really good.
He's done bad stuff too, but every author is a mixed bag.
Even Twain and Hemingway had some clunkers.

    Everything is overrated.

    Everything is also underrated.

And thus the circle of life continues.
