This. Power dynamics mean things. It is acceptable for someone pushing back against fascism to hide their identity, the power of the state will find them otherwise.
It is not acceptable for the state to hide its enablers because that power is being and will be abused on a mass scale.

UA is the kind of guy who doesn't take "no" for an answer because he sees it as a personal affront to his will being executed. That is the mindset of abusers and exploiters, so he sympathizes with the authority in power.

An illegal who has no business driving was given a commercial license in California and then caused a major accident with his big rig. Same thing happened in Florida a few months ago and that caused lot of fatalities. Being here illegally is one thing, but allowing people who don't even understand the rules of the road to drive big rigs is insane. There is no justification for it and news media have every right to cover it. Had he not been here illegally and had he not been given a commercial license thanks to Stupid Newsome, this wouldn't have happened. Period. You don’t just get “given” a CDL, particularly for a semi truck (to drive a 9+ person van it’s pretty trivial). His immigration status has nothing to do with this. Either he fraudulently obtained the license, or (more likely IMO) his being 19 and distractible caused the crash, unless you’ve got evidence of lower training standards required for illegal immigrants than for citizens?

There's no noted correlation between fatal accidents involving undocumented drivers, commercial vehicles or otherwise. Nothing reactionaries like more than plucking an outlier incident and attempting to advance their political bigotries based on the isolated story. Agitators do that shit to trans folks on the regular, hell the Heritage Foundation has a whole damn project going that's exactly that.

Go out and find the stats that indicate that commercial drivers cause fatal crashes at a substantially higher rate than other drivers and get back to us, m'kay?
