with the prohibitions on drugs and alcohol, you still had guns in the mix.

meanwhile you have violent crime rates that makes the rest of the developed world wonder if you're really part of the developed world.

If you ever watch "1st Amendment Auditors" on Youtube (or as I call it "Stupid Cop Porn") you'll see idiots with badges pulling everything from PR 24 truncheons to Tasers and Guns on people who are doing nothing more threatening than taking video. Extreme cases to be sure, and some of these auditors are assholes themselves...but still... :pwease:

Back in 2016/2017, I watched a cop pat down a frail, elderly man (dude couldn't have weighed more than about 130 lbs and was probably in his 80s), and I realized that if I shouted, "He's reaching!" the cop almost certainly would have shot the old guy, even though gramps looked like he wouldn't have been able to fire a .22 pistol without the recoil being fatal, let alone something that had serious penetrating power. I leave it to your imagination the skin colors of the people involved.

yeah, ours still have that problem as well-especially with First Nation or other PoC folks - even when they're the victim.

It looks like the jackboots are beating a strategic retreat.
The Defense Department is scaling back the number of federalized National Guard troops in Chicago and Portland, Ore., as weekslong court battles have stalled their deployments.

A defense official, not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed to NPR that 200 California National Guard members in Oregon and 200 Texas National Guard members in Illinois will return to their home states in the coming days. The troop withdrawals were first reported by ABC News.

On Friday night, the military's Northern Command hinted on X that changes were to come in order to "ensure a constant, enduring, and long-term presence in each city." :chris:

i don't know, i don't think it was about Paladin if ICE AGENT was plural he would have surrendered right away and there would be no need to pull a gun. ole AL possibly, his beard seems to always get tangled up in his 'machine' so maybe but i don't think Al could be mistaken for a teenager........................ a loonytoonager yes but not a teenager.

Good point about the immediate surrender. They might need a gun when he wouldn't stop fellating them even after they'd finished.

ICE and coyotes like to hunt in packs. An individual ICE agent who starts waving a gun around is at real risk of murdering someone, getting shot themselves or having the gun shoved up their ass. :brood:

No, I'm saying you will not "stem the violence" BY fixating on inanimate objects instead of perpetrators, that your "wHy DoEs It WoRk In OtHeR CoUnTrIes?" nonsense ignores fundamental differences that make the comparison invalid, not the least of which being the unmanageable number of firearms already in private hands.

Which you continue to fail utterly to demonstrate.

So while we're at it, let's eliminate DUI's, registered cars, driver's licenses, mandatory insurance, and vehicle safety regulations. Go back to the good ol' days.
I mean, since fixating on inanimate objects is pointless, after all.

So I was right that your whole point is "the problem is just too big, so there's no point in even trying."
While also continuing the fake dichotomy of no regulation whatsoever or gun confiscation, no in-between.

Once again, no rebuttal. Can't even try to refute it, just the same moronic "Nuh-uh!" I've come to expect from you

Of all those things, only DUIs are a good comparison. Punishment AFTER the crime, imposed on the person, not the implement.

No, the point is rejection of your fucktarded insistance that the only possible way of "trying" is more useless, feel-good gun laws.

Background checks lead to registration leads to confiscation.

No time wasted on your obvious lies, douchebag.

*UA's head is made of bricks. Dicky keeps throwing a pebble with "the assault weapon ban drastically lowered mass shootings" scribbled on in Sharpie at his head. It keeps bouncing off with a "tick"*

"Tick!" *Retrieval* "Tick!" *Retrieval* "Tick!" *Retrieval* "Tick!" *Retrieval* "Tick!".

So, vehicle safety regulations and a license to operate motor vehicles is punishment. Okay.

Gun violence went down during the assault weapons ban, and went back up when it expired. And that's just one statistic I have in my side. You have zero.

Norway, Sweden, France, Denmark, Canada, Australia and Switzerland disagree!

Well, you wasted time whining about guns, so I can only assume when it comes to the actual topic of this thread, you've got nothing.

He knows goddamned well that once he says out loud "I don't fucking care! My rights! My rights! My rights!" that the argument is forfeited and done at that femptosecond.
So he has to play his games.
While saying everyone else is playing games.
Which is one of his games.

But we KNOW his, Paladins, and FF's position is "my rights, and fuck all of you".
It's not hidden like a poker hand.
Paladin comes right out and says it.
UA thinks he's not only playing poker, but that's he's awesome at it.
    It's kinda pathetic.

No, the TLDR was that crime overall was down due to 1) better economic conditions, and 2) some big cities were still using more "broken window" style policing tactics that nobody wants. Both of which changed drastically after the turn if the century. It absolutely was NOT the simple "we banned the scary-looking guns and that was the cause of a reduction in violence" situation Crosis' lying ass is trying to sell.

Now he will pivot to "Ah ha! So you agree handing out free money is the solution!"

Remember how I said that was just 1 statistic on my side? There are plenty of others...in the gun thread, that you abandoned like a scalded little bitch. And that's not even going into your extremely myopic view of the "TLDR".
And you still, still have yet to explain how you aren't a hypocrite over the J6 / ICE protestor dichotomy you espouse.
