Huh? Okay, I had to read this a few times to understand how you even arrived at that conclusion. Let me put my teacher hat on. "Petty" is not an antonym to "important". Something can be important to you, but still be petty. Such as mocking people you disagree with.
Ayn Rand took 1000 pages to say "greed is good; the poor need to know their place, and darkies even moreso". You need to shut up.
I'm hoping the memory wipe at the end of "No Way Home" counts as the reset, and they leave Mephisto and Aunt May out of it.
I absolutely believe YOU believe that Does not follow. Mocking does not signify importance. You are straining again.
And I am forever responsible for a mediocre book I've read once or twice in my life. Go fuck yourself.
Sigh. It's a fact. Importance is a value judgment. Thus what is important to you can be petty to others.
Personally, I loved Iron Fist... but good luck with that. Everyone else hated that show and the character is a little bit problematic to begin with. The white savior who comes in to save the Asians doesn't exactly play as well as it use to. If Snow White taught Disney anything it should be don't open a can of worms that you can keep on a shelf.
Thesaurus disagree's! https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/petty Yes, I know that we're talking a different form of "petty," but I couldn't resist.
Yes, they rescued 10-yo Danny Rand from the plane wreck. But then despite him being a 10yo foreigner, and despite there being a whole village of people who know what's up, only he proves himself worthy to succeed in the quest that everyone gets, and thus becomes the Immortal Iron Fist, the destined protector of K'un-Lun. In the comics, he does a lot of saving of K'un-L'un before going to NY, and makes trips back there once in a while IIRC. Iron Fist is listed in TV Tropes as an example of "Mighty Whitey." https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MightyWhitey Perhaps to move away from the "white savior" trope, because the star was too lazy/arrogant to try to fit his role or perhaps because of the incompetence of the writers, the MCU version of Iron Fist isn't actually all that good at martial arts compared to the rest of the characters and doesn't even succeed at protecting K'un-Lun.
So what's up next? Thundercats? Who cares? Does anyone know any of these characters or care about them? It's generic Suicide Squad and no one even cared about Suicide Squad--either time. Fantastic Four? Mexican Reed Richards, Gay Johnny Storm, Hillary Clinton Sue Storm, and CGI Thing? Get woke... [EDIT:] How could I forget Girl Silver Surfer!?
So it was pointed out on Midnight’s Edge After Dark that based on the age of the actors cast for Fantastic Four that they might as well had brought back the cast from the early 2000’s movies.
