Yes you are. Are you so stupid to have not read the bit I put in bold FROM THE AMERICAN DEFINITION? What's more the article points out that the American definition is broader then the British one. Insufferable idiot. How can you demand respect when can't even read by basic standards?
Not according to the wikipedia definition. In American English, the term can be used similarly; however, it can also be used to refer to intolerance towards a group of people in general based on their group characteristics such as race, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, andsocioeconomic status I have no intolerance toward any group of people on any group characteristics Not being an American is hardly a group characteristic.
And you should be nicer El Chup. If you fail to do so I'll stop offering my sympathy to you outside of the Red Room.
So you're ignoring national origin then, Besides, of course being non-American is a characteristic. It has the characteristic of not being American!
No. You had your chance with that when I stopped using profanity with you. I stopped when you started using profanity and insults towards others. Do like it, blame yourself....and don't give me ultimatums. I'm not interested in buying sympathy. I only care for it from people who mean it, which obviously you don't.
I'm generally sympathetic toward people who are so utterly primitive and ignorant they can't express themselves without routinely and repeatedly using profanity (which I don't make a habit of) in expressing themselves. If you are the accomplished professional you "CLAIM" to be then you can probably do so as well. If you start practicing. Good luck.
Sorry, but that's crazy. He was being attacked for supporting Israeli policies and beliefs. Obviously that rules out saying "I don't like some of the policies and beliefs of Israelis." I've gotten death threats for being an ultra-Zionist Jew, and I'm not even Jewish. In supporting Israeli policies, defending against the charge that you support those policies only because you're just a Jew or a Judeophile (or some such thing) requires you to insist that you're not, and one might perhaps retort that you don't particularly care for them, or don't even particularly like them.
Actually it is you that is ignorant. You hold on to an old fashioned idea that profanity is bad, when in reality it is simply a collection of sounds and letters. I do not swear in front of my colleagues or clients. Why? Because they are afforded professional respect. Bigots, to whom I owe no professional courtesy, do not get afforded respect. I think I'm doing a lot better than you my friend, despite what I have discussed in the Blue Room. When one consistently fails as much as you do, despite good health, then that person should not want to take pot shots at others.....and it is ironic that immediately after asking me to be nice you then start insulting me. As @shootER points out, very ironic.
Yes. No. Then waddle on over to MC and feel free to criticize my work, with some indication that, unlike Flashy, you've actually read it. What you're doing in the RR is criticizing me, for exactly the reason NAHTMMM described.
Now now, Chup, there's no need to be bigoted about his bigotry. Remember that chap who used to lecture us about moral relevance of bigotry? Dayton's no worse than those who revile him for his behavior.
BTW... the word "Phobia" doesn't just refer to "fears". The Medical/Clinical definition of the word, has always included, not just the "fear of" something, but also strong "dislike" , or "aversion" of something. One need not "fear" a thing, even a little bit, to be legitimately described as phobic of it. Also... there's a whole slew of new materials and industrial coatings, that repel water and other liquids, which are refereed to as "Hydrophobic". I seriously doubt that the New and Improved Rain-X™ on my car windshield is "terrified of rain", but can see how the term "phobic" in this case describes a kind of chemical "aversion" between water, and the coating on my windshield.
Professionals know better. If you were one as you claimed then you would know better. Being a writer, I expect Garamet to be better expressing herself with words. Supposedly being a professional I would expect you too............ forget it.
"Supposedly". Again with the insults. Keep expect that respect Dayton, you won't get it. Utter lowlife. I am professional with my clients and my colleagues as I said above. Are you either of those? No. You're a vile bigot who insults my heritages and my nationality. Why do you deserve professional treatment?
Tell us when you get that head coach job you've been after for ten years and then somebody might believe that you're not in a class house throwing out stones.
I am a professional with my students and colleagues as I've said before. So I deserve professional treatment just as you do.
Than whom? You still don't have the guts to review my creative work. All you can do is because I hurt your widdle feelings in the RR.
As opposed to you mocking other people's actual accomplishments? Yeah, Dayton managed to turn what was supposed to be a lighthearted retrospective into Yet Another Thread About Dayton.
Let's see, you're telling Garamet to be a better writer, El Chup to be better at his profession. Yet you're claiming that El Chup is mocking you. Now let's take a look at some hard facts, Garamet has had several books published, some of which have been best sellers. El Chup has advanced in his career, and has also argued cases in front of the highest courts in his country. Yet you, for ten years have been claiming you'll be a head coach next year. You haven't advanced at all in your so called career. You continue to stagnate, "coach". So which of the three above are actually good and successful at what they do?
No. I dislike your hypocrisy and you considering yourself better than people here when, in reality, you are far from in and, some might say, inferior.
Yeah, but don't you see what he's up to? He's now making this about the professions of others to weasel out of addressing the fact that he's a bigot.
Sorry. I had to go write a review of Dweller's In the Crucible at Amazon. Didn't want to but Garamet made such a big deal about me openly critiquing her work.
