Probably just recency bias, they are pulling out the red carpet to keep another poster at the forum. You have been way more active ergo they don't feel any need to appease you.
I don't know for sure, but when Lanzman says "No. Because you wish it." be sure to remind him that hes *formerly important* and has sweet f all to do with who does or does not get a name change. Maybe ask @Bickendan or @Ancalagon nicely they are both pretty reasonable chaps historically.
Seems like a lot of work. i’ve never been able to settle on a good Internet name. I think it reflects my basic lack of a personality. Like I’m never someone who gets nicknames... what does that say about me? That probably explains my occasional bouts of impotence. And gout.
Maybe you should go with something equally bland like *Someguy* or *anyguy* or maybe just go with *Bollocks*. Im all out of ideas you're a hard one to pick for, when i try to think, my mind just drifts of to a freshly painted white wall.
But in truth i have a soft spot for nearly all you old farts, ive been posting with some of you guys nearly 22years which is over half my life, I'm 41 next week. Its been a wild ride at times and i wouldn't change a single post.
