You will get another smug, pampered assbag who thinks scolding the plebs is "comedy," and you will LIKE it.

I DID know about Trevor before he joined TDS, but only in the same way I knew of John Oliver - British TV got there first. Trevor got noticed on QI, in particular by managing to arouse both Stephen Fry AND Sandi Toksvig (the latter of which very much plays for the lesbian side) by speaking in Xhosa.

Colin Quinn is still around, but he married a producer on Seth Myers, so that probably makes him too woke for you now.

Trever is no Jon Stewart, but I appreciate him carrying the torch. The best interview he ever did was with Dan Crenshaw. I respect him for that.

The Pillsbury Doughboy calling someone who literally grew up illegal (miscegenation was a crime. His white father wasn’t allowed to publicly acknowledge him) in apartheid South Africa ‘pampered’ is just *chefs kiss*.

I'm aware of the sob story, and he's still a fucking smug douchebag millionaire, so shut the fuck up. The only reason you're on his knob instead of including him among the wealthy who "shouldn't exist" is because you find his smug douchebaggery relatable.

It could be a good opportunity to get one of the passed over correspondents. Wonder if Oliver would come back. Bee would also be great.

I am assuming that was a vague, chickenshit reference to Gina Carrano.

Suggesting someone shouldn't be fired for a couple of stupid "tweets" qualifies as "cheering" in what universe? Remember what I said about the goddamn fever dreams.

She not the wittiest unscripted speaker I've ever heard, but she could hardly tank those ratings worse than Trevor "I totally wasn't about to be fired" Noah.

What does it "tell" that I haven't already devoted thought into my talk show host preferences? I don't even have cable. Just streaming services and physical media.

It's no secret I'm "for" more actual entertainment and less vacuous scolding, but the former is in such short supply I don't bother holding out hope.

I wonder if Bill Burr would do a talk show. Not a HUGE leap from standup and podcasts to a conventional talk show. He sometimes brings in guests to shoot the shit.

I'm aware that is the go-to gaslighting campaign of transparent bullshitters. If I was wrong about this, the woke-scolding screechbots wouldn't have been dropping like flies ever since they lost their "Orange Man Bad" crutch.
