It wasn't a policy call, it was a technical call. And that doesn't have anything to do with you saying something you shouldnt' have.

And the board was at risk how? You didn't have time to consult and find out whether this was something to be handled by policy instead making a unilateral change and starting a shitstorm? It's not like we haven't been aware that this happens for a while now, with many knowing how to prevent such things.

So whether or not its okay to say something publically depends on whether or not you think you're right.

And the way you turned off and stated it in that thread did not sound like a temporary state of affairs while you looked for an answer...it looked like it was off and it was over and done.

We got a letter a week ago at work about us switching over to recycled plastic bags because customers were clamoring for them.

So we switched over yesterday, and now all the customers are complaining because they have a light odor if you stick your nose up to them, and they want the old ones back.

Yes, it should...and shall die.

But....this was not an emergency and it was as much a policy issue as a technical one that could have used some discussion before a decision needed to be made. Things like this is what the Shelter is about.

There is no doubt there are times for unilateral decision-making, but there are also times more information is needed and more input before an action should be taken.

Please try to keep that in mind.
