She’s feisty. I’m sure she’ll figure a way out. Ezra Bridger has been doing so completely on his own for two years already.

and they're literally the same age!
I suspect her empathic skills and ability to convince people are partly her tapping into the force without knowing it.

Otherwise, I'm really hoping the Quinlan Vos namedrop also implies Ventress might show up.

I’m hoping Ventress shows up if not here, then in the Mando-verse.

I'd hope here (as Mandoverse she'd be pushing 70) as she and Kenobi had a flirty sort of relationship, despite being on opposing sides for the most part. She also hooks up with QV in the expanded universe.

Not too mention, we've seen her have a merciful side if it's personal enough. Her and Vos running an underground railroad for surviving jedi could dovetail into Bad Batch nicely, too...
Sadly, I don't think the series is large enough to go there in any depth, but simply introducing them into live action would work to continue them there a la Fennick.

Ventress is a Night Sister. So, she could have a longer life than humans. The Mother-Sister (can’t remember her name) seemed long-lived (after googling, it seems they live the same length of time as other humanoid species). But, I think you’re correct, she would have more storyline in Kenobi time than Mando-verse.

The kid playing Leia is doing a great job.

Is Hayden in the suit? Or is it someone else?

I looked up the stats and Hayden Christiansen is 6'0".

David Prowse was a massive 6'6".

I guess they could fudge that with special effects.

Looks like some other guy played Vader in Rogue One.

I know it’s Hayden in the tank and I’m pretty sure it’s him in the suit. I did notice that Vader is taller than Obiwan in this series.

Not entirely getting the love for this latest episode.

Ewan McGregor and Vivien Lyra Blair are awesome, though.

I don't find Moses Ingram's character engaging in the least, but I understand the fanboys are up to their usual schtick and are slinging racial epithets at her, so that makes me kinda feel bad for not liking her character.

And this episode has one of the top three :wtf: moments in Star Wars history:

So Vader can use the Force to break people's necks and throw shit across the room, but he just stands there and watches the loader pick up Obi Wan and walk away?

    Holy shit.

I think Vader was just toying with Obi-Wan, either that or there's still a little bit of Anakin left in there and that's why he let them go.

fun fact: Her character in Rome was Kevin McKidd's (Vorenus) wife Niobe.
    McKidd voiced Fenn Rau.

The Vader/Obi-wan fight was complete horseshit. Obi-Wan lost and almost died?

There was sand and high ground everywhere! Vader shouldn't have had a chance.

I'm guessing Vader had to reboot at some point between this series and ANH.

Vader/Anakin knows that Owen and Beru live on Tattooine, and even where. That's where he last saw them with Stumpy.

And know he even knows that Obi-Wan is on Tattooine. And that the Inquisitors tracked him to Tattooine. So when the Star Destroyer follows the Tantive IV to Tattooine, it shouldn't have bent all that hard for him to figure out that Leia was going there to find Obi-Wan.

So yeah, I'm guessing Vader took a knock to the noggin or something that made him forget he saw and fought Obi-Wan there.

The Inquisitors were tracking another Jedi to Tattooine - the guy that ended up hanging from the gate. They don't know Obi Wan came from Tattooine, just that he showed up on Daiyu to get Leia, AFAIK

I thought today's episode was still pretty good, decent action, tension and some nice lightsaber moves.

Really? I find Reva pretty compelling. The best character this franchise has introduced since Darth Maul maybe? I like her ambition and ruthlessness. Too bad Vader's gonna kill her when she fails.

This. I'm not a fan of villains in any franchise or movie. But, as far as villains are concerned, not even 5th brother comes as close to ruthless as Vader in live action.

Very disappointed in the live action Grand Inquisitor. It's like the character from Rebels doesn't exist. Instead we get a pudgy man child who doesn't like being questioned.

agreed... they really should've gone with Jason Isaacs. Age is irrelevant under the makeup.

He has to survive for Rebels (and pretty sure he does rather than reappear as a clone or something that easy)... maybe the sith magic will also allow for a recast?

From what I gather, they aren't going to kill Reva and will instead redeem her.

What's the over/under for Maul at season's end now that there's going to be an S2?

Don't want to see Maul - Rebels gave him the perfect closure with Kenobi without having to squeeze in another confrontation.

If they redeem Reva I can't see her surviving anyway - the Inquisition wouldn't care that she's "not technically a Jedi" any moreso than they did with Ahsoka once they learnt about her. And a successful redemption would cut into Obi-Wan's cynicism that Vader might be redeemed by Luke as per RotJ.

Yea, most likely, if they do attempt to redeem her, her redemption will come as her dying to save Obi Wan or Leia. Either way, I don't see her surviving this series.

yeah, I'm not much for Maul either... but he's alive in the era, and they want to set up as much Crimson Dawn as possible for later, so good odds.

She may not survive the series, but she's going to survive into season 2.

Maul has no reason at this point to seek out Kenobi. and vice versa. Maul only went looking for Kenobi in Rebels because the holocroms said Kenobi was the answer to Maul's question.

Bringing Maul into this series would ... not advance Kenobi's storyline in any direction.

I don't understand why they can't get the makeup right for the animated characters when again, we've seen fans can easily do it.

in the case of the GI, it's more a matter of using a square when they needed a rectangle... no amount of makeup would matter

I suppose there are other possible fates.

Obi-Wan could kill her. Dealing with Sith Lords is/was his specialty, supposedly. So dealing with a junior varsity Sith Lady should not be that rough.

I suppose it's possible that she turns to the Light Side at some point, but that probably means Vader still kills her, just for a different reason than mere failure.

    Sheevy could kill her.

Whichever Brother/new Grand Inquisitor could kill her.

But yeah, I think it's safe to say at some point, she dead.

Well, he's still kinda pissed about the cutting him in half thing, I'd imagine... :D

But yeah, pretty sure that until the holocrons in Rebels he'd have presumed Kenobi was dead.
