Well due to my permaban (!) I have to start this a third of the way through the season. Al's look dominant, but they always fall apart come fall. Hamilton is surprising. Toronto sucks as must all things in Toronto Winnipeg makes me sad. Fuck the Rough Riders Eskimo's should be the class of the West. Stamps will not repeat B.C will not be as bad as they have been all season.
I don't really follow college football, but like 70% of the players are American and most of them were all college stars that didn't land an NFL gig.
I've only seen them play the two games they did against the Bombers and they looked like shit in both games cause the Blue kinda suck...but the Stamps seem to rise against the other teams...although the Esks stole one yesterday.
My oldest son likes Montreal since they used to be in Baltimore during the days of the US Expansion. Me? I go green...
Meh on college football. US Division I is a farce, with its lack of a playoff and how it uses nothing more than a beauty contest to crown its bastard national champion. IA is better but its playoff system is flawed. There is some good football on the II and III level you everyone ignores it. If it wasn't for the CFL and NFL, the fall would be an awful time of the year. And I hope the UFL can make a go of it.
The UFL seems to be a bad joke. Those team names and the uniform colors they announced this week make it look like the XFL without the fun. Plus nancy peliosi's husband is an investor...
I don't really understand the hatred between people who like the CFL, or the NFL more. I like both leagues, and watch both as much as possible. Can't have enough football. .
While the talent in the NFL is clearly superior, I think the CFL games are on average more entertaining. I estimate that 50-60% of every weekend's NFL games turnout to be stinkers, while out of the 4 games a week in the CFL, it's usually only 1 game that sucks (this season they feature the Bombers and Argo's most of the time.)
Oh, I agree. CFL games are, as a whole, much more entertaining than the No Fun League. Seeing 6 men in motion at once in the backfield is enough to get anyone's attention. And where else than in the CFL could you have a 1-0 score? Madden 10 needs a CFL module!
