Bush was always a mushy Republican. He's from the Rockerfeller wing of the party, defeated by Reagan during the primary, who was chosen by Reagan in order to bring them to Reagan's side. Before that of course they tried to destroy Reagan during the primary. So much so that Bush is the only candidate in history to not release any campaign records until he's been dead for fifty years. They don't want to show the world just how badly Bush tried to destroy Reagan while he's alive because he will have to answer for it. They wrecked Reagan in 1976 when he ran for President. The Bush family has been against Reagan and his style of conservatism for decades. Reagan's biggest mistake was making George Bush his Vice-President.

So it's not a surprise that he'd vote Clinton. He's part of the ruling elite in Washington DC and that he would support Clinton over Trump.

The patriarchy of the establishment that began to bring down the Republican party is voting against Trump?

    Badge of honor.

Yup, the VP of their great god Reagan, and a Republican President in his own right, and well, he's not really a Republican so it doesn't matter.

    Excellent!

Well, he's a piece of shit too. Just because he speaks properly and plays the game more than Trump doesn't mean he deserves any respect.

This just indicates how unpalatable Clintons platform is.

Don't like him voting for Clinton as I can't stand Trump and won't vote for him myself.

But Trump will win Texas anyway.

Fuck, it could even be safely argued he actually pulled the strings in the latter part of Reagan's second Alzheimer's term.

A plethora of crimes committed by the US during his tenure in office in Central America, during Gulf War I, in the Iran-Iraq War, while he led the CIA. He even had a hand in the Bay of Pigs aggression against Cuba.

Just off the top of my head.

You realize illness doesn't happen as soon as you're diagnosed, right? The bacteria that are your foot were still there before you went to the doctor.

Wasn't he CIA chief only a couple of years? At a time when thanks to the Watergate revelations the CIA was under massive scrutiny.

    Actually no they were not.

The bacteria in my foot were apparently introduced by the doctor himself several weeks earlier when he cut into the pressure ulcer on the bottom of my foot to remove callused material.

And I hope you realize that just because someone suffers from Alzheimer's does not mean that they had the disease YEARS prior to it being diagnosed.

He supported the group fighting the MARXIST government of Nicaragua is probably big on Rick's list.

But fighting Marxists, Communists, Socialists, leftists in general should almost never be considered a crime.

Some forms of Alzheimers are hereditary, meaning he'd had the "disease" his entire life if it was one of those.

The involvements in themselves were generally criminal, both in a legal and moral sense, as are attempts to impose subservience through violence generally when under no threat. The entire thrust of US foreign policy since World War 2 has been so, implicating virtually all officials in high office to some degree or another.
