It might be useful to clarify the rules to indicate that while trolling is usually tolerated in the Red Room, the staff is under no obligation to tolerate any particular instance of trolling. The key is "lightly moderated," not "anything goes."
Good idea. I mean, it won't stop the posters who go into the Help Desk on their drama llamas, but it will be easier to defend against lawyerballing. Lulz, not really, but it will be written down.
Late post is late, but after my year of running this place, I now understand exactly why T’Bonz put the rules she has in place for the MA forum. In the old days, it was anything goes and you had people whining and there to grandstand. Aside from TNZ shit, most of it was idiot shipper drama that seems charmingly tame in retrospect to the shithole Tumblr is now Great for lulz, but not great for any kind of productivity, especially for such a large board.
Yep. I understand some appeals in the Help Desk, but then you get the hundredth "the Admins want us all to be silenced! And then banned! Silent bans!" thread, you just think 'knock it the fuck off with this shit.'
