Taking a cue from Donald Trump, this inbred cretin is showing that the way to fuck over the legal system is to flaunt it. He's giving the finger to Idaho courts that want to hold him accountable for his antics against a Boise hospital system and he's got the snowflake Sheriff of Gem County Idaho scared to serve him with papers. The whole situation is absolutely disgusting, but it just goes to show that you're far better off just telling the courts to piss off than to try to work within the system. One hopes that karma will catch up with this shithead, but whether I'll live long enough to see it is a real question. An Idaho judge issued a civil arrest warrant Tuesday for Ammon Bundy, after he repeatedly failed to appear in court or respond to a lawsuit filed by St. Luke’s Health System. Ada County Judge Lynn Norton found probable cause that Bundy committed contempt and set his bail at $10,000, a figure she called “reasonable.” Bundy wasn’t present in the courtroom, though several of his supporters were. “I can’t really arraign him since he’s not here,” Norton said. “I think it’s impossible not to conclude that, absent Mr. Bundy having some consequences for his actions, it will just continue,” said Erik Stidham, an attorney who is representing St. Luke’s. St. Luke’s last May filed a lawsuit against Bundy, his gubernatorial campaign and other business entities, as well as his friend, Diego Rodriguez, and Rodriguez’s organizations. Protests over the hospitalization of Rodriguez’s infant grandson last year that resulted in the redirection of emergency services and a lockdown of the downtown Boise campus were simply a “grift” to enrich themselves and boost their own publicity, the health system alleged. It could take several days for Bundy to be arraigned. Norton considered a few other motions made by St. Luke’s legal team, including a request for a “discovery referee” to help compel Bundy and Rodriguez, his co-defendant, to produce documents and other records that can be used at trial. She said she would rule on the request at a later date. Norton also ordered that Bundy, Rodriguez, as well as other business entities controlled by one or the other, are required to appear for depositions. A jury trial in the case is set for July. In a letter written April 12, Gem County Sheriff Donnie Wunder said Bundy, who lives in Emmett, is “…becoming more and more aggressive with his behavior…” when served with these civil notifications. Because he has ignored the lawsuit and hasn’t shown up in court, St. Luke’s lawyers said they must use processing companies to serve him with these documents. Bundy, who unsuccessfully ran as an independent candidate for governor last year, told Gem County dispatchers he considers processors as trespassers, according to Wunder’s letter. Bundy’s next court appearance is set for Aug 28 in Ada County (Boise). He’s willing to show up in his home county, but says he “doesn’t know” if he’ll show up in Boise. Fucking chicken
Doubt it. Hopefully he won't ever come back to Idaho. Since he's most likely not going to prison where he belongs, I'll just have to hope he never sets foot in Idaho again.
I think he realized the wackydoodles on the right are a bunch of fucking morons who couldn't make water without a recipe. He watched his "better" followers try to start the revolution and no one came to help them, because none of them want to do it themselves. I think he actually believed the right was going to help him and now he is just a criminal and he better enjoy his time because the world has changed and it is going to put him in a room for the rest of his life, and there is not going to be a great revolution and civil war where he can start up his own little country.
Bullshit. Private property rights have nothing, nada, zip to do with this case. This case involved BUNDY trespassing on St. Luke's Hospital grounds, harrassing staff members and threatening them. Then flouting court orders and subpoenas. "Conservatives" love to yammer about being for "law and order" and being "tough on crime:, but what they really want is to follow laws when it's convenient for them and to use the law to fuck over the poor and "others". :\ You want to debate property rights, that's fine. But do it in a case about fucking property rights.

And they keep pushing me, and pushing me, and pushing me. You know, wanting me to do something so that they can arrest me and put me in prison or kill me. That’s what they’re trying to do,” he said. “I’m almost about ready to say, you know, all those people I’ve said ‘don’t do anything to these people… don’t do anything, it’s not right to retaliate.’ I’m almost ready to say, ‘You know what? The hell with it,’” he said. “The Freedom Movement want to condemn me for leaving Idaho but the problem is I could not find people who would stand and stop what was happening to my family and the same goes with you know the sheriff,” he said. Bundy also railed against bank tellers and others he said had complied with orders from the judge who oversaw his defamation trial. “As soon as some wicked judge, under the hands of some wicked attorneys, as soon as they say ‘hey give us that person’s property and that person’s money’ they just give it to them,” Bundy said. “This is the situation we’re in: no one will fight for anybody else, that’s why I had to leave Idaho.”
