Once again facts prove you wrong.
It's honestly hilarious how wrong you are about EVERYTHING on this issue. Every argument you have boils down to "I don't like it." No facts. No data. No real reason besides emotional kneejerking.
As I've said to you many times, facts don't care about your feelings.

How about Nebraska? We've been over this before. It hasn't even been a month. Chicago has less per capita gun violence than Nebraska. Sorry Charlie, looks like you're still wrong.
And is that your new line about other countries? "We can't do like Canada. That's a whole other country. they're different than us. Barely any similarities. Hardly even the same species. There's no way we can expect similar results."
And by the way, I'd love to hear how prison-like you're willing to make schools so you can continue to own an AR-15 with a bump stock.

Pretty sure what he’s getting at here is that my 40 year old adult son has multiple mental issues including one (can’t remember the name), but it makes him think there isn’t anything wrong with him. He absolutely needs help, but will not voluntarily do it. Hence UA’s “where appropriate”.

    No, he said this:

So it wouldn't matter to him if restricting gun ownership made children safer, to him it is more importation that he be allowed to possess his property. Diacanu was pointing out the underlying horror and inhumanity of that ideology.

I don't have questions about his statements. I'm explaining why people would equate UncleAlbert with such statements as what Diacanu said. And UncleAlbert was considerate enough to provide evidence of that just a few posts back.

Your explanation is about as ridiculous as Diacanu’s. UA would never say anything like that. It was horrific and offensive. You refuse to address it because “oh, he was being satirical, waaaahh”. You’re just mad cuz UA didn’t actually say it.

I'm honestly not mad about anything anyone says on here. I'm not even really mad about Volpone threatening to shoot me.
I actually have addressed it. No UA wouldn't say something that on the nose, but the sentiment is the same as what he does say.
It's the same line of thinking that you see in "A Modest Proposal".

Just anoither episode of stanksucker @Jenee rushing in to defend her violent and threatening master while pretending she is not any part of this when it is pointed out that UA gets what he gives. It is all fine when the repugs do it, but not when they get it done to them. The two of them model their sham and dian performance straight from faux news. Jenee is Candace owens trying to pretend she is the black woman token who is merely there to try and pretend tucker carlson is not a nazi. Tucker is really much better in person and you just do not know how great he is for minorities.

Your act is so old. Yes, I do hope UA slips one day and acts out to the wrong person in Nebraska and they beat his cowardly craven ass into the dirt, along with you. I know it is not going to happen because the two of you hide and would never treat a person like you do here because you would wind up dead. You act polite in person and try to enforce your violence by proxy through other people.

It is why right now you are clutching at your pearls trying to pretend Dicky just threatened you. Wishing you actually stood by your words in public is not a threat to kill you. It is just recognition that neither of you are who you say.

Now do go suck your master's dick little karen. You have one purpose in this universe, and you are not doing it.

I'm with him on this one.
At least in the sense I know what it takes and have gone through the processes to have someone involuntarily committed.
Granted that bar is nowhere near as low as he likely hopes it is, nor is the amount of time someone can be held in most circumstances.

Ideally I'm going to a JP with a diagnosis and a stack of notation showing how they're a threat to themselves/others just to get a community treatment order. It's a fuck of a lot easier to have them "formed" (so called because there are several numbered forms, depending on who is recommending they be taken in) once the CTO exists. When they have a crisis, I can call in cops/ambulance to take them to the mental hospital for treatment/assessment. Of course, they're generally released within no more than a couple of weeks-usually a couple of days.

why not Memphis, Baltimore, Cleveland, Kansas City, Louisville, or Philadelphia?

Blow me if I'm wrong, but it really seems like violence is high and rising in places in the states with the least restrictions. The only modifier seems to be being close to those type of states.

I agree it is a tough area where a lot of the people with problems are opposed to the constant need for supervision, and that supervision may even form with their paranoia in people with schizophrenic troubles and paranoid delusions. It takes a sense of self awareness and experience with making mistakes to accept another person double checking what you are doing all the time. In the end when you are making an excited and wrong choice that person will become the enemy in your mind. A person without psychological reactionary problems is much more able to see an intrusion by others on their safety to be positive than a person who has psychological issues.

I remember being on the paintball field and grabbing a guy's face to protect his eyes when he tore his mask off and I took a couple of hard shots to the back of my hand. He was pissed I touched him, and complained to my manager. My Manager saw what happened to my hand and talked that guy down. Luckily that guy accepted the reality of the situation, and he begrudgingly apologized to me. He was rational and still was angry I assaulted him, by grabbing his head and physically protecting his eyes with my hands when there was nothing else. Me and my manager were fine with it because as he would always say, we would rather you go home pissed off at us and able to see than blinded.

It would seem to me that it would take a lot of rapport and trust for people to give up some amount of control over their actions to others because of mental issues they know they have.

Me as @Jenee : I can't believe we let such a horrible edgelord in here. Dicky would never do such a thing and is always a nice person. I have never known him to be mean to anyone. Someone please stop this before it gets out of hand.

Sham and Dian have their arguments in the red room for a reason. It is because they would not be allowed to say these things in more moderated places. Like always they are bothered when the consequences of their violent edgelord rhetoric are confronted with similar bullshit.

Jenee needs to quit clutching her pearls. If you cannot deal with mean comments you need to go to a different place.

UA would say far worse. @Jenee needs to clean some of the cum from her eyes. It has certainly backed up into her tear ducts and caused her to be selectively blind to what we all see him post every fucking day. Sorry Jenee, we do not all have a dried up crust of UA cum clouding how we see the world. Some of us get along without sucking his stank ass dick in his brokedick jeep until come squirts from our eye sockets like an anime character.

What I might have done is irrelevant as to why you are demanding that Dicky respond to you. If I had said that words on a message board didn't mean anything, you might have a point. But I haven't said that.

And that includes your very transparent emotional need to deny that security measures have any effect, because your dishonest ass knows goddamned well I never claimed anything can be 100% effective. Do I need to google "weapons caught at school metal detectors" for you? Do I really need to fucking do that?
