I can just see it now. He'll push a wrong button, get knocked out of orbit, frozen at absolute zero, and get revived in the 25th century, then with an advanced ship, slingshot back in time, and prevent the accident in the first place, then dock with SpaceX, come aboard, and make out with himself. George Takei will be watching this and say "typical ".
Listening to SirusXM this morning. The guy had a trivia question about a 90 year old man going into space and that is the clue to the "city of the day" (whatever that is) and I'm thinking Riverside IA but no, the answer was Kirk, Colorado. WTF? No. If the answer is William Shatner, the city is Riverside IA.
Bezos and Shat going into space isn't going to make up for the fact that Space X beat them in the private space exploration sector. They will not ever catch up to what Musk has accomplished - not that I'm a fan. Just acknowledging the accomplishments of the people he hired.
SpaceX didn't just eat Blue Origin and VirginGalactic's lunch, they bought the restaurant and put it out of business.
I completely get that both Musk and Bezos are assholes. But SpaceX has done a helluva lot more toward space travel and innovation than even NASA has in the past 50 years. Branson on the other hand is kind of a joke.
