When accessing content through forums or performing a manual search, there's the "Show Ignored Content" option to show threads started by people on the ignore list. Is it possible to get this option, either by changing a setting or some sort of simple hack, when accessing content through "New Posts"?
I'm looking into it. At the moment, I'm testing a mod that will have a 'Show Ignored Content' link on the bottom of the New Posts page when there are new posts by ignored users.
I think he's concerned he might miss a great topic, because the OP would be on his ignore list. My plan is to create a button or link that can make ignored threads visible on the new posts page. That's the theory, anyway.
They can sometimes turn into pretty good threads, despite their origins. Also, even if the thread isn't so great, if it's a well trafficked thread about a current events topic or just a thread about a topic I'd like to post on, I'd like to know it's there and I do almost all my board access through "New Posts." Thanks John!
But how do you stumble on to a thread like that? Won't it simply not exist in your view if you are ignoring the poster in the OP? I don't use ignore, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's the issue.
I certainly don't. I think they show on the front page list of forums where the one most recent thread shows, but not on new posts.
