oops. 26 minutes? (maybe they edited out 10 minutes at the beginning?) (maybe I was breathing gasoline fumes for too long?)

Great coverage steve, thanks. Good to see the Kennedy launch pad at NASA in use again!

[Hopefully NASA continues to fumble around its central purpose as america's Muslim-outreach public relations program that will one day bring our competing civilizations together through space travel in the fantastical world. At least we'll still have Space X to focus on actual rocket science and space penetration in the real world!]

^And that's clearly where they got some bits for Amazon Women on the Moon from! I'm going to have to check it out! (BTW, if you haven't seen Movie 43, it's in a similar vein to AWotM, with the added bonus of being able to see Kate Winslet getting "tea bagged" by Hugh Jackman.)

Wasn't Optimus a semi truck? This Optimus is at best a squashed Prius.

Elon's self congratulatory pat on the back was awkward. He was at a loss for words and ran off camera.

Almost missed it (me, not Elon).

To heavy, too high, to keep the option of landing it. So it goes.

2nd burn of 2nd stage in about 15...

... final 2nd stage burn and separation. Nope nothing to see here.

The CRS-11 mission is the first reflight of the Dragon spacecraft and marks the 100th launch from historic LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center. Following stage separation, the first stage of Falcon 9 will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
