Last episode of season 3 she did say "a time traveling Doctor I once knew.". So probably not Bill and Ted, unless she meant Sigmund Freud.

    Newer trailer.

My prediction: "Tomorrow's Enterprise" is the one with TOS-Uhura coming back in time.

Was just about to post the trailer, looks like one of the Klingons could be a smooth headed one.

Well, I just read that Deidre Hall (Marlena on Days of Our Lives) will be in an episode this season and so I'm definitely going to have to watch that one. My mom and I were fans of the show back in the day, and she would have been ecstatic over this casting choice. Apparently, she'll be in a scene with Rhys Darby, with her playing a therapist, so yeah. Yeah, I'm on board.

It looks like the news came out last year and I missed it, but now I'm excited for that.

    Here's a photo I pulled from TrekCentral:

    That's a Q courtroom, with a Q judge in the background.

    Urg.
I'm always annoyed to see those robes, because the were very specifically chosen by Q to insult Picard. Why would the other Q wear them, especially in the TOS era?

Potentially this could mean Trelane vs. MarDevil. That could be cool.

Oh wait, Rhys Davies, not Rhys Darby. So Pavarotti from Sliders?

    Seems likely.

Also, while I've been four-square against the idea of a puppet episode unless there's some good explanation. Trelane will do it. If he's behind it I withdraw my objection.

Hunches: The Admiral in the captain's chair is the Farragut and the gold shirt near him is Kirk; the duel Uhuras are almost certainly from "Tomorrow's Enterprise" (though there's another episode title that has a time-shenanigans implication) and how that happens is somehow related to the black hole seen in the first shot.

I don't think there's a single frame here that didn't make me excited to see that episode.

I assumed the horses were already on the planet, along the lines of that old west/aliens episode of ENT.

When they returned to the ship I saw that Pike, at least, was wearing a six-shooter in a holster.

I still remember that goofy storyline on Days with John DeLancie building some sort of time machine/interdimensial portal. Because, of course, that's what people want on their daytime soaps!

I spent summer school breaks working for my dad's construction company and when we had a job in town we'd go home on our lunch break. My stepmother was a teacher so she'd be there and have Days of Our Lives on so my dad and I would watch the show while we ate.

I distinctly remember that storyline as well as others involving him.

Upon rewatch, I'm inclined to think Pellia is feeding her own sense of humor. Her remark about remembering events of 60 million years ago seems to be the sort of thing that she says to troll her friends about how old she could possibly be, and common enough that no one around her expressed surprise or questioned it so - in that context it's equally possible she did know The Doctor, or that she remembers the TV show and is just having fun with the idea.

Disembodied voice of Dr. Alan Grant: "And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side."

I'm inclined to think she's fucking annoying. I have strain to understand her and I was tired of her character about 20 minutes into her first appearance.

One of the interesting things about SNW, to me anyway, is that the bridge crew is mostly female... almost a tease back to the pilot Pike stating he couldn't get used to a woman on the bridge.

I really enjoyed the premiere. Great premise, executed well.
I wish it had been a two-parter, actually. Could have been a GREAT cliffhanger.
But I'm still pretty happy with what we got.

I was thinking it's more like Frank Reynolds believing Rambo was stuff that happened to him and not a movie he saw a long time ago. All those memories are bound to get a bit muddled eventually.

Carol Kane did just guest star on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia as Frank's love interest. :chris:
