Possible. Still, I just don’t think Omega is going to turn to the side of the empire - or at least, work for Thrawn. The teen in this episode would be about the same age and she seems more inclined to side with Thrawn. Plus, she’s in the right place at the right time and at the right age to have her allegiance swayed to a man who talks a good talk.
I’m going to go with dying in an attempt to redeem himself. He will bring trouble to Andor. Possible seeing security videos after the mission (I think it will be successful despite Skeen’s attempt to derail it). This will cause Andor to need Luthen’s protection denying him his desire to run and hide away.
I got the impression that she and that planet weren't under the imperial remnant's influence. But not sure what inspiration they're pulling from to bring Thrawn and Ezra back yet either? Both are longshot connections though, and she could just be a one off/new character entirely.
True. But, at this point in time, Thrawn is working for the empire. and Ashoka is confronting the Magistrate to get the whereabouts of her boss, Thrawn. And, in the books, (its been awhile, so I don’t remember exactly), Thrawn tries to rebuild the empire.

I subscribe to a YouTube channel where a guy shoots nothing but film (including the old, old style cameras where you have to put a hood over your head to focus) and he sometimes uses his -70. I'd never considered getting a Polaroid, but seeing his work (especially in black and white--I had no idea they even made B/W film for those style cameras) makes me want to get one.

The actress for Leida is currently only 12 years old, while Omega is already 13 when we met her... IOW, she's 14 years older than Mothma's kid, who'd only be 27-28 by S2 of Mando. We'd also have to figure out where and how she learned to fight. Omega, we know...

Mon Mothma was mentioned to have a daughter in the EU novels who was disabled. Not sure if that ever made it beyond backstory though, or whether the disability was genetic, the result of disease or an injury.
hmm... it would seem overkill at this point to have her kid injured by an Imperial action thus radicalizing her... that ship has launched and hit the asteroid already. might be dramatic to have her injured by a Rebel action (looking at you, Saw) to challenge Mom Mother's commitment to the cause vs personal sacrifice.
That could be why she seems overly resistant to his views - and that resistance is why he comes back even harder. Ezra and Sabine were nearly killed before they realized he was too radical.
Loving this show - not everything has to a breakneck pace. The world building is fantastic, and really gives you a sense of the weight of the Empire. They really are mining Lucas' social commentary in THX-1138, updated for 50 years later. The prison sequence is scarier to me than any Dark Lord bullshit.
Yes, the scary thing about the Empire has never been the bwahahaa evil cultists at the top, it's the "stamp out free thought" nature of those serving them.
The original Star Wars was never meant to be anything other than a campy 70s sci-fi. Everything they've done in the last 25+/- years is incredible and largely attributed to the kids who watched it first run in 1978. So, yea, the emperor is over the top cliché evil. I'm absolutely certain that if George Lucas has a crystal ball in the early 70s while writing the script he would have written much of it very different. This is why Andor and Rebels are so much more ... intense(?) when it comes to dealing with the empire and living within the confines of that empire. I like where the show is going. and I can't wait to see the post Skywalker stories unfold.
This might end up being the best Star Wars tv series to date - so far it's really good The look into life in an Empire prison was awesome, I love where this show is taking us in the Star Wars universe
