^^^ Stupid decision and bullshit answer. It's pretty obvious WF traffic is down quite substantially. Merging forums would at least have the potential to spur more discussion. It looks pretty pathetic, especially to newcomers, when you have forums that have been dead for over a week. P.S. - Captain X, do you have something constructive to add other than being a whiny bitch?
What's wrong with a few low traffic rooms? A lot of people here are gamers, I don't see a problem with a room for that topic, whether or not they often use it. Same goes for Camp Wordforge and our gun enthusiasts. Those discussions being infrequent makes them that much harder to find if we just throw them in to the Green Room.
I agree for Press Start. There's no reason that it shouldn't be part of Media Central. Techforge could also easily go into the Red Room or Green Room, depending on the poster's choice at the time. No real need for a separate forum for that than there is for, say, literature. Camp Wordforge should stay as it is purely because it was set up to deliberately separate the gun stuff from the Red and Green Rooms, although I do concede that most who wanted it no longer post here.

I don't understand some of these forums, specifically camp wordforge. You say it was for a place to talk guns, yet how many people actually do go hunting or camping. I used to when I was in Boy Scouts, at least the camping part. I just think those kind of things are best suited for the green room. Of course if we take out forums, there would only be like 5 left. A bit surprised on how small this board is, actually.
Personally, I'd leave everything we have, but bring back the Gold Room. But then, I've been flogging that horse ever since it was merged into... whatever the heck it was merged into.
You came from Trek, right? I usually look at it this way ... if TrekBBS is the party room at a big sci-fi convention, Wordforge is the little dive bar where you hang out with your buddies and take the piss out of each other.
If it was a part of Media Central, there would be 0 gaming threads. As of now, there's some, and it's fine.
