Ted Cruz reminds me of those old Evangelicals who used to try and talk down to people because they listened to rock and roll. They don't know what the fuck they're talking about, they're making most of it up, their children listen to it at home, but they are shocked and appalled that there are people out there who love Satan's Sonic Swill (this is my band name, no one gets it). I'm honestly rooting for KBJ. I've dug around through her legislative history, and while she doesn't get as verbose as some previous justices in the matter of why she rules as she does, the fact is that she has: [ 1 ] pushed for reduced sentencing for non-violent offenders, something that seriously needs to be done because the US is a prison nation with 25% of the world's prison population just within its own borders, and [ 2 ] has defended unions against some serious giants, like Walmart. That she also wants CRT to be taught is a bonus. I think she would be a genuine asset on the Supreme Court.

I wish I could tell her not to sweat this stuff, that it's all theater anyway. They're all hypocrites, they know they're full of shit, and they don't care. She's got this.

You know, I have no doubt there are child molesters in congress. I haven't the slightest doubt whatsoever. There are people who, with the freeing power of wealth and notoriety, can do pretty much whatever they want, and some will absolutely engage in such horrible acts. The difference, I'd imagine, between my own thoughts on it and the people pushing QAnon, are that I think it's most likely the people pushing QAnon in the first place. What better way to get the heat off of yourself than by blaming the opposition of such horrible, unthinkable acts? They didn't love Jeffrey Epstein for his business acumen.
