The problem is you are deliberately ignoring the fact that Islam is not about killing everyone else. Groups like ISIS maintain a separate genocidal view from Islam like Nazis maintain a differing genocidal view of Christianity. So sure we should not allow the takeover and establishment of ISIS just as we should not let them Nazis takes over. We can remain tolerant of those who practice Islam as it does not reasonably harm others as we tolerate Christianity the same way.
