Thank you for keeping Wordforge alive and running. I've been on so much social media the past 20 years: MySpace, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Bluesky, and they all have eventually enshittified because the goal is to always make money even if it means tossing aside the people who actually make up the audience to create that revenue. Some message boards are no better, banning people for the silliest shit, personal grudges and grievances, and all of that, but Wordforge is still my favorite place to go. I feel like I know most of you pretty well by now, we've argued, laughed and even cried when members we liked passed on. Some of you know things about me my own family doesn't know. I do see so many of you as friends. No real message beyond thank you for being here, and thanks to the admins and mods who keep it running, and who spend their time moderating when necessary. It's a truly thankless job, but you do it. I just wanted to mention it.
