I'd grumble if Alabama wasn't a done deal. Residents of 35-40 states can do this sort of thing with no real cost.

I wrote about this last year but if we can somehow dodge the bullet in 2024, demographics and the failure of Trumpism will basically force the GOP to give some consideration to returning to sanity. It's just a matter of surviving the next 5-6 years.

Didn't the NY Times bury a story about Obama until after his first election?

And how many things have come out about Trump that a competent investigative press should have found before his election?

The thing is, Trump's scandals were ubiquitous, for decades. But the GOP backed him regardless. If there was some scandal around Obama, other than the "Kenyan Muslim" bullshit, I probably missed it. Refresh my memory.

I gotta love when people insist that Biden's aides will never let him debate and he can't possibly handle it, as if he hasn't done it ELEVEN TIMES in the past year, on stage with candidates far more formidable than Trump.

Eh.... nearly half of them would have wiped the floor with Biden in 1-on-1 debates. There's something to be said for mediocrity rising thanks to the clown car effect.

What's the over/under on Donnie Boy announcing "We don't need debates. People love me. Let them decide"?

ANYONE with all their marbles and a firm conviction of their beliefs, right or wrong, would destroy Biden on the debate stage in his current state. The man has DEMENTIA.

Perhaps you missed the part where his campaign ran 88 variations of an ad starting with the same 14-word sentence labeling Antifa and rioters with the same red triangle badge the Nazis gave political prisoners in concentration camps.

Given that how y'all think Trump has a lower IQ than Jenee, are you really going to try and hang something like that on him personally? Hell, half this generation thinks it was the Nazis we whupped in the Revolutionary War.

Who was fired? Who was disavowed over it?

And who complained about Facebook’s “terribly unfair treatment” when they took them down?

A retarded, demented Nazi is still a Nazi.

That was the point where I relented somewhat in regards to Biden. I think he’s a sexual predator, a liar, has an imperialist foreign policy, is beholden to the wealthiest classes, is a racist, and I am not voting for him, but he’s not a Nazi, which has now become the lowest bar yet.

That said, I understand how scary Trump is, and why any other port in the storm will appeal to some.

Oooh, Trump is so scary. A billionaire with no ties to D.C., who didn't need the job. Jumped into the race to stir things up, make a point, and then to his surprise, an electorate fed up with the status quo elevated him to the presidency. Says what he thinks, rubs people the wrong way, puts America first, deep sixes a lot of past disastrous policy, and shines the spotlight on an assload of cockroaches. Massive deregulation leading to record high stock markets and record low unemployment, pre-Covid. Even now, portions of the economy are rebounding with remarkable vigor. The Machine has responded, trying to destroy him from Day One.

The sad thing is, that Trump is what most of you HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR for years, and when he finally gets here with an Agenda that torpedoes the socialist agenda and actually promotes what you claim to want, your true intentions have become sadly clear.

So... y'all can STFU and carry on.

    TRUMP 2020, bitches. MAGA.

If Trump was putting America first, he wouldn’t be so divisive and would be trying to heal the nation.

Riiight. That 'divisiveness' is purely media-driven- it has nothing to do with Trump, if anyone would actually fucking listen to anything he says.

One does not need to be competent to be a threat to the Republic and Constitution.
    dubious
Except the Clintons, as if it makes a difference
Odd, he sure makes a lot more money now than before.
Is that what they’re calling “set himself up for another reality show” now?
The electorate said otherwise, in point of fact.
    Lies out his ass,
read: is a (convicted) racist asshat
how can you say that with a straight face? Trump puts Trump first, the Trump Org second, the Kushners third, the rest of his friends fourth, Putin fifth, big American businesses’ stock prices sixth, Jeffrey Epstein’s secrets seventh, Donald Jr. eighth, Melania ninth, and Baron tenth. America doesn’t rate in his top 20, most likely. The Constitution he swore an oath to uphold is somewhere between a hamberder wrapper and the Washington Post.
A smidgen of disastrous policy, a bit more bad policy, and a fuckload of good policy.
That’s easy when he brought them to Washington.
That got there slower than the trend line from 2012-2017.
Only the stock market has. And that due to the Fed printing money like there’s no tomorrow (and to be fair, they’re closer to right about that this time, at this rate). And that at the cost of 120,000 deaths, and what will likely amount to hudreds of thousands of multi-year or permanent disabilities.
So said the virus of the immune system.

”This forest needs significant thinning” is closer to “this forest doesn’t need thinning” than “BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND.”

    no u.

    Thanks no.
    Seig heil!

Threatening to send in federal troops and violating posse comitatus creates division. That’s just one example and that’s not media-driven.
