I did love a lot of my friends who were female, but I many times pitied their husbands because I got to enjoy their company and didn't have to build them shit and live with their unreasonable decorating habits. Do not get me wrong, I like going to a nicely decorated house for an afternoon or evening, but I live in my place. There are decorations, but when I collect useless junk it goes in a bin with the other useless tech things I never throw away because I might someday need them.
