There was another one a few days back where a Navy guy shot a couple of folk then headed to an Army base where other personnel shot him. But I don't think it hit the minimum body count to be called a "mass" shooting.

yeah, these are to dramatize the need for gun control. The real problem is every neighborhood and city in the US where there is a proliferation of guns.

If he knew the victims it's not really a "random" shooting, is it? :chris:

Well, neither were the others, they had motives. I like the title though. It plays off memes and tweets nicely.

We aren't really due for one in the UK until 2026 if we go on past intervals.

Ireland might kick off though. That's more sectarian warfare than random nutters though. Religion gives the nutters a place to hang out with like-minded (though I use the word "minded" loosely) murderous cunts.

Maybe we need 4 threads for the 4 different types of gun violence. Maybe then OF would be able to differentiate remediations for one will not solve or even have any impact whatsoever on another.

Only "mass shootings," and not the other forms of firearms violence that absolutely DWARF those numbers. Cute. :brood:

Ugh. The football guy took out two kids. One was 9 and the other 5. Brutal. Tragic.

I wonder if it was CTE or something like that. Still, just terrible. I don't know how a gunowner can read that and not feel the slightest twinge of anti-gun sentiment. But then again, Sandy Hook.

The twinge is an anti-human sentiment, and it does not incline me to disarm myself.

don't blame me if you can't comprehend that 500+ gun homicides annually in one city is much > all the victims from "mass shootings" across our entire nation annually.

You mean anti-sanctioned head injuries in sports? I feel plenty of twinges about that, dipshit. Don't you have a gun to fellate?

Between all these mass shootings and police officers gunning people down just for shits and giggles, it sure is great that Americans' right to bear arms is constitutionally protected.
