From what I gather, he used to post as Kor somewhere, and he's been banned at TBBS numerous times. Big Bad Internet Persona, he.

He and I have barely interacted, except for yesterday when he claimed his health insurance premiums had gone up, and I asked him if this was the first time it had happened (i.e., was it All Obama's Fault) and he flitted away.

So he's got no real beef with me. It's just another :lookatme:

As nearly as I can figure out, I've broken the Cardinal Rule of Message Board Posting, which is "Never, never, never let them know who you are IRL."

The minute you register under your RL name, it freaks them out, because only under anonymity can they be the Big Bad Internet Posters that they are.

If you look at the long list of 'em who've immolated themselves trying to "put me in my place," they're always the ones most paranoid about their own Secret Identity.

They live in terror that their employers et al., will find out what shenanigans they get up to, and they envy anyone who isn't constrained by that.

I remember Jamey Petey Whistler Octavian threatening to "tell your publishers what you post on Wordforge," as if he thought that had some sort of power over me.
