The NON-Space Pirates Artwork Thread.

This is the second design for the World Prayr webzine project. My director asked for a more muscular Jesus in modern carpenter style. Hurray for anime Jesus.

New work for World Prayr, as requested by my director asking for "Jesus reading the encouraging blogs that are posted on the World Prayr blog site." Left the rest to me, and this is what I came up with.

Thanks, Summerteeth! And here is another for your viewing pleasure. This is yet another commissioned piece of work for World Prayr. I do enjoy doing the riduculous Jesus ones as much as the serious ones.

That design is going on a t-shirt for World Prayr. Notice that one of the websites on the screen he's surfing is Wordforge.

It's a damn shame I don't have Photoshop available at home anymore. I'm working on an avatar for Tamar, and she's gonna friggin' love it. But I refuse to submit it in black and white. Without the color red, it's just a nice sketch. And paint is crap when it comes to filling in color solidly.

So fun story. Got a Photoshop trial, did the entire avatar for Tamar, completely finished, and at the last fucking second, the computer froze up.

So I have to start over.

However, I did have a slight stroke of intelligence, and I did a PrintScreen. So I do have a smaller version of what the semi-finished product looked like.

Alright, I redid the entire thing, and here is the finished product. I think it turned out better than the old one.






EDIT: \/ Had a feeling you'd like it. Hadn't done anything for this thread in so long that I figured it was a good time to create something more Wordforge-oriented.

A submission for a contest on Deviant Art. This is Amy Rose, a character (obviously) from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.

New character finished from the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe. This is Julie-su, she is Knuckles' former counter-part turned love interest.

Not sure I like the background, but I was on a time limit with that part. The character turned out great, though.

Doctor Ivo Robotnik, the Master Supervillain of the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe. Freakin' sweet. You might remember the sketch of it from earlier in the thread. I finally decided to Photoshop it.

And yet another for the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe. This is Princess Sally Acorn, Sonic's love interest in the Freedom Fighter comic series.

Miles "Tails" Prower. Sonic the Hedgehog's best friend and sidekick.

Fiona the Fox. Villain turned... well, neutral villain I suppose. A Catwoman sort of character.

Knuckles the Echidna. Sonic's rival turned comrade.

Mephiles the Dark. Mysterious villain from the past, seeking to reunite himself with Iblis to become Solaris.

Bunnie D'Coolette, the "Rabbot." Member of the cyborg member of the Freedom Fighters.

Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic's anti-hero counterpart.
