To me, the existence of God is a fact, verified over and over by my own personal experience and that of others in whom I have confidence. To you, the existence of God is a fairy tale. That is the case for almost everything we believe. Even those who claim to be empiricists believe 99% or more of what they take as "fact" on the basis of what other people told them. I have no doubt whatsoever about the nature of atoms, but I have never ever in my life examined an atom. I simply trust those who seem to know what they are talking about. I firmly believe the Earth is spinning on its axis and rotating around the sun, while even the sun is hurtling through space. But I have no empirical evidence of that: I have travelled a fair amount, and everywhere I go the Earth seems to be perfectly stationary. I am absolutely convinced that Australia exists, but I've never been there. Bailey might just be trolling us all by claiming to live there. The point is that even though reality is objective, our perception of reality is entirely subjective. Which means that one man's facts are another man's foolishness. Who gets to have the final say, and tell everyone what they should accept as fact and what is mere illusion, ignorance, or even downright lies?
