Start off with Samsung. Next we have Spotify bricking devices because they don't want to support them anymore.
This is not a bug. This is probably HP being a bunch of dicks, or the company these people got their work laptop from is pushing HP software because their office workers have need for HP printing software. This is actually a product of modern functionality regarding windows distributed updating. Either HP has used a gigantic hammer to forcefeed prinbter updates to people who use their products, which I would not put beyond those fucksticks, or some admin is chose to have this distro done. This is the problem with shitty tech writers who are unfamiliar with the new ways windows works. Windows store does not push new versions of anything automatically without you setting it up. Maybe HP printer software flips the switch to automatic which would mean this would be happening in a whole lot of places, or the fuckstick who is writing this article got their computer from a company that sets it up this way and they are mucking around with settings they do not understand because they are a home user who is dealing with a corporate suite of programs and drivers. I would bet on the fuckstick who is writing this article knows just enough to be a bigger moron than most users. I cannot rule out HP doing this on purpose because they are lazy and want their software running everywhere in a sloppy method to make everything seem like it is HP compatible.
This makes sense as creators have been doing product placement ads for a while which have not yet been eliminated by adblockers. This will require a lot of hardware to process and distribute in real time. My thought is an low end AI running on your computer would be able to detect the switch and perhaps fast forward through the buffer or block the ad anyway. You are going to have a noticeable cut in the video stream to insert. The local processing of an adblocker would be far less than the server end processing to integrate the ad into the stream. It just seems like this will be problematic for cheaply written adblockers. Talk about ways to advance AI to confront AI.
Just an FYI, if you're not blocking "Reels" you really should. FB is injecting them into your feeds without giving any indication as to who originally posted them. I clicked on one thinking that it had been posted by a friend and I was curious as to who it might have been. Two seconds or so into the video I realized that it was NOT the kind of thing I wanted to see (regardless of if it violated FB's TOS or not, and it really should violate their TOS, because anyone who watches that kind of video is a creep). Now, my feed is filled with Reels that look disturbingly similar to such videos.
I have never replaced a mouse because of software. Does the software go bad in the fucking things? I think they would just do better marketing their cheapest basic mouse by making it all white and calling it the kanye mouse and selling it for 200 dollars.
Just give them enough time to overengineer the things and Uuuugh Imagine putting machine learning into a mouse to predict how you'll move it next, and how that would interact with playing games. They'll try it. You know someone will try it. And try to sell it as a gaming aid.
so really at that point the AI takes over and does what you would want it to do, which is win. Then we are AI vs AI, and I can go watch some netflix while I am playing all these online games. Maybe I will get together with some humans and play a real world game while my AI bots conquer the internets. It would be really amusing if kids started hanging out in person a whole lot more because their AI's were handling all their social media and video gaming.
https://nypost.com/2024/07/29/busin...ngly-censored-iconic-photo-of-bleeding-trump/ "Mistakenly" my hairy white ASS.
The tone of your post (using all caps and such creative language) implied you were angry. If that's not the case, my apologies.
So, is Trump's bloody face (an image you can get fucking anywhere) going to be the new Hunter's dick pics? Is this the new logic 3 card monty game the right is going to play?
X would sue your dick for being two millimeters longer than Elon's if it thought there was money in it.
