Yep, and even more importantly, AFTER he received the subpoena, he personally ordered workers to move boxes to his residence.

But they still have to show classified documents in those boxes for it to be relevant.

Not as I understand it. The Presidential records act covers all documents whether classified or not. Despite his claim that they're "mine, mine, mine, mine!" They do not and having them violates the law. This is an interesting analysis.

National Defense Information for one charge, any Presidential Records for the second, and this is prima facie evidence for the obstruction charge.

Trump might be trying to shift assets around to avoid losing money if Letitia James' case against him goes badly. So she's applied for an injunction to prevent Trump Org from moving money without court approval.

Jan 6 committee votes to subpoena Trump.
The House Committee investigating the Capitol attack voted Thursday to subpoena Donald Trump in an extraordinary move seeking a direct confrontation with the former president accused of instigating the deadly Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection and leading attempts to subvert the 2020 election.

“The vast weight of the evidence so far has shown us that the central cause of Jan. 6 was one man, Donald Trump, who many others followed,” Vice Chairperson Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, said.. “None of this would have happened without him. He was personally and substantially involved in all of it.

"We must seek the testimony under oath of Jan. 6's central player," Cheney said, adding that the committee had "sufficient" information to issue criminal referrals related to multiple figures in the panel's investigation. "We are obligated to seek answers from the man who set this all in motion."

Few expect Trump to submit to the committee's summons, a demand that will likely prompt a new round of legal challenges involving the former president. If Republicans win control of the House in the November elections, the new GOP majority would likely terminate the committee at the start of next year.

Walt Nauta is the former White House valet reportedly shown on Mar-a-Lago security footage moving boxes of documents, He also received nearly $150,000 from Trump's leadership PAC in payroll, travel expenses, and "advance consulting" between August 2021 and August 2022. 1/

How do I know? Because FEC filings for Save America, that leadership PAC, for the period 1/1/21 through 8/30/22 reveals as much

    Can we separate the two?
What HC did with her server was illegal and morally bad. What DJT has allegedly done with SCI documents is also legally and morally bad. There, I said it.

So, what you're saying is that the two are equivalent. I could be wrong, but I don't believe that any of the (What was it, four?) classified documents Hillary had on the server in her closet were related to nuclear weapons. Trump had thousands of classified documents at Mar-a-Lardo, and WTF knows if he's got any others stashed at other properties. How are they equal? WTF could be on those four documents that Hillary had that compare to thousands of classified documents that Trump had?

because poor people should go to jail for stealing food, but billionaires get bailed out in every possible sense.

    No.
Does not matter. Having the documents is illegal. Period. The fact that liberals are willing to overlook this is why Republicans are going to dismiss it and overlook it for Trump regardless of cult status.

I didn't say they are equal. It appears that what Trump did is worse. Both are bad and under the law, both are illegal.

Again, I'm not making the argument that both are equal. For the future, I'm also not making the argument that both sides are equal either. I'm saying both things are bad. One appears to be worse than the other. Both sides are bad. One appears to be slightly worse. Congratulations, the Democrats suck, but not as bad as the Republicans.

Both things are true. Hunter Biden's laptop thing was suppressed by the media prior to the election and did contain damning stuff. George Soros does have an agenda and donates to a lot of liberal causes, but you're fine with that. What you're not fine with is the Koch brothers doing the same thing, but for libertarian causes.
