And I don't own a PS4 or an XBOX1. If you liked Skyrim, this looks even better...
Good game, but I'd be much more fun if one could get rid of the third person view. I hate looking at the back of my char. I will NEVER get used to it. I hope that fps view is added using a mod. This would improve the game very much.
Polish, "Game of thrones" this is. Waiting till final patch comes out, really only bad flaw in the engine in Redengine.
I got this as a freebie when I bought my Xbone, damn engaging storyline and fun gameplay, although once you get the hang of dodging most fights against single foes become trivial. Bandits used to give me the most trouble, as there'd be archers pinging away at me as I tried to engage the melee'rs. Mark Addy (Robert Baraetheon from GoT) crops up to say "fuck", "cunt", "bastard" and "bloody" a lot as a crude but ultimately tragic Baron. There are DLC's coming, hence the necro - Heart of Stone is already out and adds a new set of side quests to the game, whilst the upcoming Blood and Wine is meant to set up Geralt's "retirement" after the events of the main plotline, giving him one last big monster hunt in a different region of the world (their equivalent of France). I'll probably pick these up but replay the vanilla game first to remind myself of the playstyle.
