I wonder if it will become important again now that Trump has claimed credit? I remember when Bin Laden was killed during the Obama administration, and suddenly Republicans at the time were like "you're still upset about that? No one cares!" or claiming that Obama was lying about kiling him. Now I get the feeling the GOP will nod their heads and the coward media will be like "Trump killed Bin Laden while Obama was in office? These experts give their opinions on how that could be possible."
Near as I can tell, he's not taking credit for killing Bin Laden, but rather repeating an old boast where he claims he warned people about Bin Laden before 9/11. The appearance of claiming credit for Bin Laden's death comes from the fact that he's no longer capable of speaking without blubbering incoherently.
It is funny that he takes so much credit for that, because if we're handing out credit, I'm giving it to Seth MacFarlane.
Between the lot of them they haven't a single vertebra. The media clearly doesn't have the stones, and the Democratic party will likely use it as campaign fodder rather than actively stopping a threat against the entire country and half of the developed world.
This a thousand times over. I'm no admirer of Obama, I have criticized him many times with some very serious and heavy criticisms, but he often got flak for being black while President. These people hated him and everything he stood for not because of the criticisms I had, but because he was black, because he represented a changing of the white supremacist guard, and I believe it was fundamental to the shift we're now seeing from the people who support Trump. Obama becoming president was a betrayal of the Great White Society and they will never forgive the country for letting it happen and so everyone must be punished.
