The earth looks flat in this pic. I’m not saying it is, just saying that’s what the earth looks like in that particular picture. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/nasa-arte...2H0QhVVpprq0liFWWRkbmFsUqNpxESxhbxOIZYEr4daOO
Hmm. Woody flavour, with notes of carbon and smoke... must be the Northern California/Southern Oregon vintage
Speaking of the moon, I posted this video a few years ago for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11. Still one of the best shots of the Saturn V I've ever seen in a documentary, set to some pretty great contemporary music (M83's "Wait"). The good bit starts around 6:30:
NASA's Latest Artemis 1 Moon Images Are Truly Jaw-Dropping In the documentary For All Mankind (not to be confused with Apple TV+ series with the same name) you find out that the Apollo astronauts were stingy with the pictures that they took because they didn't want to "waste" film. The upshot of this was that they didn't use all the film they took with them on their missions. Given that we don't have to worry about such things when it comes to digital cameras, I am hopeful that when we send people back to the moon, we're going to get all kinds of amazing photos.
