Emphasis on "humanity". The mentality today seems to be "my people are superior to any other people, my race is superior to any other race, and my country is superior to any other country." That philosophy is the basis of fascism. Coupled with the power to crack down on anyone who dissents, it becomes the very definition of fascism.

Humanity doesn't always show much humanity, and with someone like Donald Trump in the White House, it has become very acceptable to demonstrate one's lack of humanity in a very public way.

The funny thing is that while Trump made the DOJ drop the investigation there is still $50k of US taxpayer dollars that are unaccounted for.

Constitutionally the Congress has the right to know where every Federal dollar is spent as part of their oversight powers.

So where did this $50k cash in a burrito bag go?

Now that CBS news is being administrated by Bari Weiss, I suspect that desire to push further right wing away from credible journalism will continue and from one of the oldest legacy news networks in the country.

I would add that there isn't much honour in working out a ceasefire after you helped one side massacre tens of thousands, starve innocent civilians, and commit numerous war crimes. Deciding that "that's enough now; you can stop the massacre" doesn't seem like a very noble thing in my opinion. If Trump really wanted peace, he should have been working for it since January 20, instead of encouraging Israel, helping them, or at the very most looking the other way while they piled on the atrocities.
