What is our policy on pornographic drawings? Apparently, Volpone decided to start a thread called "WTF, John?!" where he posted a picture of several MLP ponies using anal beads and such, with swastikas. Yeah, I'm also wondering how he thought this was going to look bad on me, but the point is that I deleted the picture, though you can still see it in the edit history.

I'm not sure what to do here, since I don't know where we stand on that, but I figure this is the best time as any to find out.

You can see the thread here: http://wordforge.net/index.php?threads/wtf-john.105121/
Just look in the edit history (under history) and click on Pre-edit version.

I saw that but couldn't tell what it was.

I'm fine with deleting the image.

Works for me. Like I said in the thread, I found it funny that his idea of trying to troll me was for him to put pony porn in his own upload history.

I would not have even realized it was pornographic -- all that pony shit looks the same to me. But editing is fine, maybe pit an edited for graphic content tag on it or something, but otherwise, no problem.

Well, the giant swastikas were what got my attention, and I figured that's what he was aiming for until I looked down a little further, and eeenope.

I don't have access to see the original, but aside from the Nazi stuff, how was it worse than what Tuttle posted?

I wouldn't use the term "explicit sexual image" if it weren't explicit. It's an image of a small blue unicorn wearing a nazi uniform while using anal beads on a white unicorn, while shoving objects in her vagina, as her vagina leaks vaginal fluid onto the floor. Behind them is a giant nazi flag, and the small blue unicorn is saluting it as she does these things.

I did that edited for graphic content thing, gul. I put it in the offending post itself. Any of you can look up post history when you need to see if its legit.

By the way, it turns out he hotlinked it. I thought he uploaded it, but when I checked the image info, it gave me a URL back to a Rule 34 website that specializes in porn of *everything*.

I was wondering, because he's not really good at trolling, and if he'd actually created all that art work, I was going to have to move him above Poodle on my list of "Most Pathetic Human Beings" list.

I just found it so weird that there are people so interested in trolling me, that they're willing to go to actual porn sites to find things to use against me, as if I'm the one that's going to be laughed at. It's like smacking your own head up against the wall and asking someone why they're hitting themselves. It's just really backwards, poorly executed, and the only person who is going to feel it is you, so why bother? I guess I make him, and a few others, feel insecure. Well, we can't all love sports and beer (well, I like beer, and baseball is fun).

I don't want to feed into Volpone's persecution complex, so I'll respond in here...

I gotta agree with @Lanzman, it took me a while to notice everything in the pic you mentioned, especially the liquid. I had a pretty "Meh" reaction to that. Tuttle's pics had one bare breast and a very obvious white pony ass naked jizzing out a rainbow that seemed way more obvious to me, IMO.

Yeah, but workplaces won't have a meh reaction to it, and I've been under the impression for years that Wordforge is mostly SFW. I deleted it because it violated the rules. All Volpone's doing now is trying to save face that he unwittingly posted pony porn. I'll say here what I said there, I used the term "explicit." I don't consider it extreme. That was Volpone's word. It's goofy more than anything, but it's still explicit.

That said, I would like to know just how SFW we are. Links are okay under spoilers, correct? Otherwise, explicit images are deleted, or possibly converted into links and spoilered. Clarification would help.

I'm good with links. AFIC, they don't even have to be under spoilers as long as they're labeled NSFW.

Good, I can work with that.
By the way, I am ever so grateful for that code I put in a few months back that limits the size of images to 800 pixels when posting. Otherwise, I would have had a face full of Nazi pony vagina, and I'm just not into that.

On a tangent, why do people like corrupting kids' show with that type of stuff? I should be used to it as Godawful Fanfiction was one of the very first forums I posted on and one of its headlining "Golden Oldies" was a Rugrats fic involving Angelica and her parents (which I never read in its entirety), but...not really. I miss snark boards, and the ones that are still around have run everyone off with social justice shit or Mean Girlz antics.

There are always going to be people who do that kind of thing. I don't begrudge anyone who likes to look at that kind of thing: so long as it harms no one to each their own, but I don't like it myself. I like fanfics of all kinds, but there are fanfictions that get dark and full of gore, and it turns my stomach. One of the reasons I like my cartoons is because they're sweet and innocent; they're free of cynicism. When they get twisted into some other form that takes away the whole reason I like them, it defeats the purpose of the whole show for me. Still, it exists in all fandoms. Trekkies do it, Bronies do it, Whovians do it, Browncoats do it, doesn't matter whether it's The Flintstones or Frasier, there are people who are always going to dive to the bottom for the perverted stuff.

    Edit: What Lanz said.

@Ancalagon - To continue here, I do have a list of the smileys from most popular to least, though there's no length of time. That said, there is an entire category of just dirty emoticons which I can outright delete if you guys want.

Some of those are fairly popular. MrsA cleaned up a lot of them a while ago.
