I really would not have minded the earbuds if they made them like hearing aids rather than having that stupid hanging stick thing going on. At that point give me the battery powered headphones and microphone. If I am going through the discomfort of putting something into my ear and having it stay there, then I do not need a little stalk coming out of my ear to show everyone I am wearing the overpriced piece of tech. It is like putting the tag on your T-shirt on the outside so everyone knows you bought a 120 dollar t-shirt from the tech equal to kanye.

Otoh I am all for wearing headphones with cute ass cat ears that totally cover my ears and make me feel like I am in another universe with their soft padding and fuzzy nature. At that point if you want to put a hello kitty sanrio logo on it I am cool with that.

Are there bluetooth rechargeable headphones? Maybe I am bitching about nothing because I could just buy the headphone version and be done with it? Maybe I am not old but simply eccentric?

They do make a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, which is what I use because I don't want to carry around more rechargable shit.
