I go to the Sao Paulo every year or two for a couple of weeks. I love seeing family there and enjoying the culture. When I get back I don't have a piece of steak for a month, lol.
Loads of steaks, loads of hearty stews with rice and good soups/broths too, all of them very meat'centric. My kind of people
Coxinha is a fried appetizer with chicken, some kind of sour cream, spices, etc. It's terrific and comes in a cone shape or bite-size option at parties. Pastel is the ultimate appetizer. Rectangular in shape, it can be filled with any beef, chicken, veggie, cheese, calabresa, or pizza toppings. Paired with an iced cold soda or beer and it's perfect.
Do you have a grill? If so, a pizza stone is cheap and it comes out crispy and chewy. Also, if you haven't, try Caputo "00" flower from Italy. Yours looks fabulous.
I don't remember either was like 15years ago tbf, I spent a couple of weeks in Rio and about 5months in Minas Gerais, mostly in and around Belo Horizonte. Was a wild time met some fucking great people while I was there.
I mean I'm not against investing one at all, but so far been making homemade pizza for about 2 or 3 years and I'm pretty happy with how the crust and dough comes out.
Well then you keep doughing you. I feel like there are very few ways to fuck up cooking a pizza, and if one does, it can easily turn into a surprise calzone.
Thanks for your insights but no Calzones so far, but I'm not against getting a little pizza oven thing I'll just keep an open eye and open mind, if I come across one I'll probably pick one up.

My favorite Omakase joint in Bangkok. Everything gets flown in from Toyosu Fish Market that day Uni, caviar and snow crab There were like 8 more courses but was hitting the sake pretty heavy by then
I fixed myself a mostly club sandwich today. I say mostly club because it had no turkey. It had black forest ham, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, 4 strips of bacon, with sandwich spread, on very thick honey white bread. I had it with a side of deviled egg potato salad. It was delicious.
I just ate an entire 6.5 oz container of Kaukauna spreadable cheese and half a bag of Nacho cheese tortilla chips. Why am I like this?
Weeknight fast and easy dinner of fusilli and store-brand tomato/basil sauce. Store brand isn't an insult here. All the ones they make are excellent and far better than Ragu, Prego, or even Paul Newman's brand.
