I got Moderna back in Dec/Jan. I would have taken whatever they had - just so grateful to have gotten vaccinated while I was in and out of hospitals.
Invalid poll. Given that most of the posters on this board are American, the results will be heavily skewed towards the Pfizer/Moderna snake oil.
At least our snake oil is legit for once Got Pfizered in January and February, and my raging erection hasn't gone down since. Doctor says it's the nanochips and a feature, not a, er, bug
Had my first Moderna shot, the imbeciles "running" the province say I should expect to be contacted about the second one around August. White Boy summer is ruined.
My wife also got the J&J, and aside from a very minor ache in the arm (which she also gets with the flu shot), no side effects. She's not only past child-bearing age, but has no child-bearing equipment, so we're not expecting any fatal blood clots.
My second shot isn't until August, and I got jabbed last month. Apparently now that hundreds of millions of vaccines have been administered worldwide, they're finding that a longer span between first and second shots provokes a stronger immunity response. This is typical with many other two-dose vaccines. The phase three trials, which suggested a two- to three-week interval, comprised less than a hundred thousand individuals. Either way, two weeks after your first shot, your chances of being hospitalized due to COVID effectively drop to nil.
Keep that to yourself, I don't have to go back to the office so long as I'm a "high risk" for "severe reactions" to covid.
I'm on the "take the first vaccination I can get rather than wait for my preferred version" team myself. Pfizer was the version Walgreens had at the time, so I got that one.
I have to agree, I was not very picky on which one was offered. I did not even ask. All I requested was first appointment available. I do not even know if walmart was offering anything other than Moderna. I will say I was a bit worried about J&J considewring their reputation and what was going on with them at the time. I did not care about making a second appointment, or even that J&J would have been less effective than the others. Anything to not roll the dice on a hospital stay or to be puking my guts out or hacking my lungs out for a couple of days. Seriously, put another tracking device in there. My PC, phone, blue tooth speakers, and car seem to always have the mic on and have tracking devices in them. I think my pad does also. There is already probably a billion hours of me jerking off in the NSA database. If Bill Gates wants some more all I want is my fucking tail damnit.
How close are you to Montana? Or hell, any Native American reservation on US soil? It seems like they're all more than willing to help anyone and everyone get the jab.
I'm not getting the vaccine because COVID-19 is fake and was just an excuse for the Democrats to try to control everyone with their mask mandates and lockdowns. The vaccines are just saline. There's tons of evidence to support all of this, but the people who have that evidence are afraid to come forward because if they do the Jewish Illuminati will send Lizardman Assassins after them. Just kidding, got the second dose of the Pfizer one two weeks ago. I chose that one because it's what the place I went to had.
Same here. I would have been happy to get the J&J one and done. I do wish there was more J&J available. During Spring Break in Florida it would have been great to just fill up some mobile units with J&J and drive down to the beach. Offer free food/drink coupons...free lap dances at the local strip joint...whatever...I bet a lot of those partiers would have been willing to line up. With our short attention spans, it's hard enough to get people focused on one shot, let alone two. We're doing pretty well all things considered. I really like Biden's shift toward getting more doses to hotspots. It should have been done sooner, but at least it's getting done.
Yeah, I’m only Team Pfizer because the dude at the VA yelled JOHNSON [last four] - PFIZER - RIGHT LINE. And I got in the right line.
