The Fleet Captains Lounge was quite active and lots of people became close, but then the group started breaking up when folks were promoted to Rear Admiral. So the Eternal Fleet Lounge was born. It was most notable for it's attempt at democracy and then the crazy board politics that developed.
No. Assuming you're sincerely asking, Bastion and Calli trolled the fuck out of Verteron and got him to closevthe board. Mogh and someone else got REFCL up, Mogh got shut out, and Eggs Mayo bought the board. Software issues killed REFCL last year.
Purchasing Wordforge now would be like buying the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. The board has been destroyed by the current iteration of EliteForge. So many people have left, or been run off, that it's no longer worth the effort. I can't stress enough how bored I am with this site these days. Wordforge used to be Must See TV. Now it's Star Trek in the Friday night 7:00 pm cancellation/death slot. @John's faggy histrionics, Dul's twattery, Christopher trying to be Michael J.
