While I am glade he is actually gainfully employed I cannot help but disapprove of this whole retarded separatist movement among the right wing. They want their own right wing media, their own encyclopedia, their own dating sites, their own... Everything mainly because actually dealing with real facts, having to intelligently argue positions with people who have different ideas, and actually dealing with the real world is just so hard. Retreating into isolationism is an admission that you can't defend your positions logically with facts nor can you intelligently argue your beliefs. It's sad that right wingers have come to this sorry place. Hopefully, Polar just works there because he needs a job though judging from his posts (which I freely admit I have not seen more then a few dozen of so maybe there is some gold out there) it seems not to be the case.
I honestly hope this separatism is nothing more then economic opportunism from people hoping to take advantage of the small minded. It's a sad statement about the state of our country other wise.
It's actually pretty clever, in a way. Take "conservapedia." Wikipedia, while it has its flaws, is generally a pretty good repository of information. If you start a "conservative counterpart" claiming that Wikipedia is hopelessly liberal, you might be able to convince people -- especially lazy people who thrive on platitudes -- that both sites are biased and the truth lies somewhere in between. That way, you can shift the baseline -- what people assume is "middle of the road" -- several notches to the right.
