Normally I like to give Floriduh shit for it's negatives, but when the lunar eclipse comes around this is one of the best places for it.

I have viewed a few of these in my life, and they are a wonderful experience. They last a few hours, and you can talk and watch with some friends or just think away. I really like the beach down here. Being at night the sand is cool, and the water feels contrastingly warm. It is one time I appreciate having a male body being I can be out at night without feeling cold.

I have a new weed connect and I can probably get shrooms too. I think I will bring a picnic down to the beach and bring out my new animal shape shifter tarott cards and get used to them. I have my new pad and headphones. I will do the DXM for some stimulant and have a nice muted blood moonlight to see. I have a nice new dress to ear, or maybe I will try something traditionally gothic. Not to mention I could probably make myself up too. Good preparations for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walpurgis_Night later in the year.

while I find astronomy phenomena interesting lunar eclipses are way down on my list especially compared with solar eclipses.

You know if you are special enough like your hero Mr. trump you can stare at them with your own eyes and not be blinded. I am not real sure how that works for us cursed mortals, but perhaps the guy god loves the most could do it pretty easily.

but doesn't Florida have a lot of cloud cover? I know the forecast is cloudy skies & rain for the weekend around here - hopefully it won't extend to Florida if you are trying to observe the eclipse.
I google up some picture of what it will look like.......FREAKY! Imagine how people thousands of years ago would react to a red moon, especially with no warning? :shep:

and the moon is beautiful tonight. A purple aura as it seems to be bathed in fire. It might be a dark time between now and the next, but I am ready and charged.

We were overcast in Boise last night- no joy.

Tonight was clear as a bell. The supermoon is gorgeous, but obviously it's not a wolf moon or anything like that tonight. Just a big, beautiful, full moon.

Saw my first lunar eclipse at age 9 or 10 in West Australia, when we were living in Oz. Watched it on the beach, under the Milky Way, snuggled under a blanket with a cute little aussie girl/ classmate (family friend) who I had a total crush on. We held hands.

Some memories can carry you through a lifetime. :D
