 ISWYDT But wait - if somebody were involved with BBC then they would have no need to go fuck themselves at that point!
Side note on my actual BBC memories: when I was living in the UK they had BBC 1, BBC 2 and BBC 3 - and that was it for our TV channel choices!

I’ve had a plan for two years that recently changed and the whole time I had BBC America and didn’t realize it. I now have a different plan, but still have BBC America and have basically have my tv locked on that channel, I love it.

I only recall 2 Beebs, and ITV and Thames. 4 channels, when I lived there for brief periods in the 80s. But that was mid and late 80s; so, later than when you lived there.

Don't recall a BBC 3, what was that?

Thread is prescient - a BBC cameraman just got violently assaulted by a Trump supporter at his El Paso rally. Guess that "Enemies of America" stuff POTUS riles the crowd with can be dangerous, who woulda guessed?

At least Trump had the awareness to stop and check if the guy was OK after the drunk was hauled off him before resuming his speech.

I fit the BBC in whenever I have time, often several times a day. I especially like the BBC first thing in the morning, really wakes me up and gets me going. The BBC fills me with all I need to face the day.

Wait. We are talking about the British Broadcasting Corporation, right?

Then charge the attacker with assault/battery/etc. accordingly - that's what you do when assholes attack people for any reason. Lots of witnesses, it should be slam-dunk arresting him depending on the severity of the attack. According to some articles I just read about it, it was "an incredibly violent attack" which included shoving! BTW the same article said the "the crowd was whipped into a frenzy" which may be true, but think......if the crowd was indeed "whipped into a frenzy" then wouldn't more than ONE PERSON have acted out? :chris:

So to recap....out of a crowd of hundreds one person took it upon himself to be violent and security handled it in a professional manner.
Sounds like a local news story to me.

 sorry no - this incident is even more uninteresting than anything local, if that's even possible! I guess my bar for "an extremely violent attack" is a little higher than shoving.
