Shit’s about to get real. This is the text Trump just sent out.
Apparently the people they're talking about are eligible voters, but moved from one county to another and voted in the wrong one.
If they'd voted in the correct county, it still would have had no impact on the presidential election. And if their ballots had all been rejected ... well, I'll be interested to hear the Trumpistas' reasons for thinking that every single one of them voted for Biden, because that's numerically what it would take for those ballots to have made a difference.
It's a legitimate concern. If 35,000 votes we're cast in the wrong county, it's cause for review. But it could easily benefit Biden more than trump if those are rejected.
It should be investigated. I'm not sure postal records showing a change in address request is a standard to determine the county of residence.
Either way, it's water under the bridge. The vote has been certified. Electoral votes cast.
ETA: no way to know with a review who cast what. Can't reject any votes. Interestingly, voter laws being enacted would have no bearing on the issue.
ETA2: except the legislature's ability to call the vote if a judge decides enough votes we're invalid.
Strike ETA 2. Here's the list of new laws.
If Trumpers were interested in facts, they wouldn’t be Trumpers. Their god has told them that the election was stolen and put the blame firmly on GA. Do you think that they’re going to be cool with the election not being overturned? Do you think that they’re going to trust the results of any election where a Democrat wins?
Once again, why are these people so fucking weird?
I heard an interesting theory from a psychologist the other day: Trumpers are basically addicts who got hooked on having their core beliefs reinforced by Trump and Fox News. And like a lot of addicts do stupid shit to maintain their high.
Makes sense. Non-gamblers wonder how gamblers get addicted despite ruinous losses. The answer is that they're not motivated by wins and/or losses. They're motivated by the thrill of the "action". All build up with no payoff that makes sense to normal people. It might explain why Trumpistas don't care how many times he's proven wrong and how many times he lied or how many of them are dying because they're not vaccinated. It's about the thrill of "owning the liberals." That's something I've believed from the beginning.
I think you're over analyzing it.
Trump's a fucking moron. He's one of them.
I think if you want to use the gambling analysis it is more Joe Pesci in Casino when he is losing at blackjack and his friends have to throw him out and face his wrath because they would not just pretend he is winning and cheat for him. You know, one of the instances that sort of lead to the collapse of the whole criminal empire because one loud mouthed idiot couldn't stop being so fucking obvious which tipped off all the people who were overlooking their criminality even though they were all participating it. The only difference seeming to be everyone actually did something about him and burried him and his people alive after beating them with baseball bats for being such an incompetent boob.
And by having one of them in office they get to own the libs in their heads, regardless of what he actually does in reality.
Guy really wishes he has head ridges. But he'd still be an honorless petaQ.
His lawyer also argued for no jail time on the grounds "the mark of shame will last longer".
These wankers HAVE no shame. They should be slapping pre-emptive "proceeds of crime" orders on these cunts because you just KNOW they'll be grifting from the Trumpistas on the talk circuit once they're out.
We seriously need a SMH emoticon for the comments section.
I'm not 100% confident you'd know when and how to use it
There has to be jail time for the participants. If he was not an organizer, did not actually physically assault cops or anyone else, and if he did not vandalize the place while inside then 7 months is a decent sentence. Having done 3 months in jail I can say 7 months is not a slap on the wrist. I would have hoped for a few years of probation time to allow for the state to be up his ass and make sure he is not grifting and participating in these things anymore. Of course, he won't see seven months inside.
I'm shocked. Shocked, I say!
It's almost like this was the Republican strategy from the beginning.
Yeah I mean did the Democrats miss the part after the last election when Mitch declared war on them and any idea they bring to the table?
Because it sure seems like it
Don't worry, the DOJ is all about not being political by prosecuting the people who committed treason against our country if they are part of the powerful and rich elite.
Thank you Biden administration.
No, the DOJ is all about letting career prosecutors make decisions based on the evidence, and keeping political appointees away in order to demonstrate the integrity of the prosecutors' decisions.
You mean evidence of investigations that never lead to indictments because of a technicality that a sitting president cannot be indicted? You do realize Trump is not president anymore and can now be prosecuted for his crimes, or are you one of the people suffering from the delusion he is still immune from the law? The DOJ could prosecute him for his crimes. That is not partisan. The only reason not to is because you are there to support the idea presidents cannot be indicted for their crimes at any time.
Keep on sheepling Biden Bros.
