I bet there are some freaky women out there that would have sex with that thing RIGHT NOW if they could. It won't be long before we are married to robot girls.

That is very impressive. It has a range of motion almost equal to a human's.

I suspect we will see autonomous bipedal robots walking down city streets in our lifetimes.

    For sure.

I had dinner with my parents over Chinese New Years, and I told them it's very very likely that by the time they have to move into a retirement home, that they will be taken care of by robots who look like humans.

My dad did not believe me, but since my ma and I email and talk about technology a lot, she believed me.

They also didn't seem to have much of a problem with me marrying a robot girl. So long, as I suspect, she isn't a white girl. ;)
(Only my mom. My dad loves white girls.)

That robot appears to have a robo-vagina where its robo-penis should be. :bailey:

Hey, it was obviously cold when that photo was taken. Robo penis inversion.

not the 60 minutes "behind the scene" of Boston Dynamics.

I thought about looking for the dance vid, but it didn't come up in an easy search. In any case, this thread is better and existed before yours.

It seems like this tech could be great for people who use wheelchairs.

Come across an obstacle? A curb? A staircase? Just extend the robot legs.

tracked wheelchair? I'd rather have arms come out of my back like Doctor Octopus.
